I"ve been trying to keep the Notables section up to date.

I think it's useful to see a synopsis of previous breads, they move so fast nobody can keep up with all of them.

when it gets near 20 batches I prune off and post the oldest 10 or so then link it the Past notables string.

eventually the Past notables will need to be pruned as loaves fall off the board.

I am well aware there is a Best Of Bread section that is also an album title, long live vinyl but having two different editorial views of the 'best' cannot be a bad thing in my opinion

you are correct, I've long had the feeling important stuff was falling off, but I could only catch just a few.

A while back I tried to prune the loaf down to one page… didn't work. Puffed right back up to 2, then 3, then 4… do you remember a week or so back when it was 4 pages?

I think maybe two pages is reasonable, one might be possible but it would run into the dreaded body of text too long error every time you added a Q posting… ah… a conundrum.

As I said, I'm very much looking forward to seeing your vision made manifest.

truncating the notables is one thing, I'm looking to see how truncating Q's postings goes. I think I might have tried to consolidate in other places.

If you want to stick some of the reference bits here so they're permanent you can. I'm here for the duration, so is this place I'm thinking most of what is the great majority of the third page. You could eliminate it that way.

New Virgbaker here, want to learn to help out, I'm here anyways, so, I'm on mac stuff, mini, iPad, phone. Should I just prep a thread for emergency bakes, night owl, have it ready when no one to hand off? What is a good app , I have notes, butnot notebook program. Also should I only use one single device for ops? It looks daunting for the first go, but I'm willing to serve.

BO/BV seems to be MIA at the moment so you may want to wait until tomorrow so they can fix any mistakes you may make.

I'd download notepad++. It's very easy to use and lightweight. It keeps your formatting perfect.

It's up to you if you want to bake. It requires focus and work.

Follow the instructions from the Baker guide and you should be fine.

Id like to make a suggestion if appropriate.

Opening posts should simply remind anons to avoid getting distracted and stay focussed on topic, and 1 link to bread for whoever is a newbie/person looking for updates.

Just keep the picture up to identify the bread, put Q posts and updates/notable posts/maps etc in a different bread for updates.

Get people involved, but dont make it so damn complicated just to make a bread.

1 Person to make new breads with appropriate number and reminders, not this 3 miles long opening posts no one bothers looking at 95% of the time. 1 link thats it.

Imho you wouldnt have a problem getting bread makers this way. Lots of people really do want to help, unfortunatly many dont because they are not tech savy (my situation).

By mod in a thread, i dont imply someone to ban people, simply moderate conversations respectively and try to keep them on topic, help people find the information/links to their quieries (However you spell that). If they get offended by "fuck you, gtfo, biblethumpers/aliens or whatever toots your horn" shouldnt be moderating in the first place. Doesnt mean they need to step in with every post off topics either. Moderating shouldnt be about tech skills but communication skills.

All I can think of is having 'off duty bakers' watching the dough. Legit bakers would add a final step to the bake and create a ‘dough insurance policy’. Assuming pastebin posts 'stay alive’:

Sorry to ask again but how do I use the pastebin link again? I looked thru the show posts and options and all I see is a place select drop files. Do I have to download a file from pastebin then save into a folder and pasted here? . Or Do I just copy paste the link http:// pastebin and remove the space between the http and pastebin?

it generally goes as follows

you use the most current updated pastebin link to open that pastebin page

you copy from the raw section at the bottom

paste that into your fav text editor

make edits as needed to add Q posts, notables and changes / additions to the reference page

when the bake is complete you copy the edited text from your text editor and after clicking new paste button at top of pastebin page you paste your new dough into the blank pastebin and click create at the bottom.

If you don't have a pastebin account a warning will pop up about spam

just fill in the captcha and it will generate a new pastebin page

you then take the link to that pastebin page and put in in the bread

btw

you only fill out the subject line for the 1st post of the bread, the name, Email & Subject boxes are left blank for all other pages of the bread.

the bread is

1st page - Q posts

2nd page - Notables section

3rd page - Reference section

4th posting (if you get it) the link to the pastebin page that has the dough you used to bake that bread.

the difference between a thread and bread is cultural. A thread is the correct name for a series of posts on an image board. A bread is on a Q research board and is supposed to contain crumbs or clues on the subject(s) of Q research.

A baker's job is to keep the bread informative and concise. Adding Q's most recent posts to the list, selecting notables and updating the notables section and keeping the reference page up to date.

I use CTRL-F a lot while baking

you will see quite a few (1)s [single post anons] the great majority are clowns and shills posting wild goose chases, but occasionally there will be a true gem. So don't filter and pay attention to all posts if you can. I just scan 'em quickly, I'm so used to the dig flow I can spot new info & just skip past the chatter, noise and mayhem.

I like to open the new thread around 600

I'll load up the subject line (which I keep at top of dough so I don't mess up title or number)

Then I load the banner graphic

By doing those two tasks 1st you do not activate the captcha timer and you can just let that idle while you go back to the active bread and check for late Q posts.

Last I copy / paste the body of the text and post.

Then page 2 & 3. copy all of dough & paste it into the new pastebin, click create new paste and then copy that link and paste it into my 4th post of the new bread as current dough link.

btw the captcha activates when you click in the body of text box. You can click on the captcha area to get it to renew.

If you post your new bread and it hangs (posting 98%) leave it, open new tab / window and open a new qresearch catalog page (I like catalog view a lot) to see if your new page is there, it probably will be. Just click on it and continue with bake

I'll post this again I put a copy of the bread title at the top of my dough so all I need do is copy / paste and I've got the subject line in place and didn't have to type it (remembering the correct number)

Be careful of this. I would advise starting a new thread at 600 and open it in a completely new browser window to avoid the capcha issue. Sorry for the long post I want to squeeze max info in small space as possible . I will do exactly as you say .Thanks Bakers . I am making 10000000 percent maximum effort to be a good member of the Bake squad I want you all to know that .I am making a few Am mistakes and will correct immediatly.So you know how hard I work when I luv something , One time i worked on a video shoot myself only I did 3 live streams multi cameras in the same arena and ran all three streams I did the main tv table with 3 cams and commentary , I did a 3 cushion billiard tournament 2 cameras with a commetary booth (other there talked on the matches )and I did this funny 9 ball game with 2 cameras no commentary. 3 computers 2 mixer commentary stations and I did commentary almost non stop for the pro 10 ball tv table matches the whole weekend. I had the nicest room in the event center and I could not even go (happened several times ). I slept under the bleachers for a hour . It was insane like 35 hrs straigt setup time I was forced to do because i thought i was walking into a easier setup than it was I was unprepared) . So long story short I know how to work hard in unknown territory while learning fast and moving fast in the right direction using the skills I have been gifted . I know how to be dedicated to the cause and I am making some mistakes in baking and posting but its all new to me and I am learning to correct myself as i go . Tune the sound. I am a bit of a firecracker but I am 1000%Maga oriented and driven with no limits in time nor space to my efforts to help. Il post the videos where you said as long as I am not banned. quick word about the consolidated posts: in theory, it's all good.

but in practice, let's be honest: if you have to click a post to go see a post with links to other posts… i don't think much if any humans are using that.

I don't quite get why anons would be annoyed at having the links to every map (in both sets, GMT+EST) in the breads.

These things have been a staple since the beginning, Q has reminded us of their importance, and need to keep updated.

They are at once an archive and an invitation to re-read crumbs, and as such, i think having them in our way as often as possible is a good thing.

Sooooooooooo many newfags ask so many dumb questions, showing they don't know their crumbs well. Not only newfags, either…

Just passing by and wanted to say thank you to my Super Bakers out there . Just wanted to say thanks a ton for all the effort and help learning how to bake. Because of the amount of clowning on the board, and seeing what is going on in a big picture overview of the board , the clowns are for sure out of control and gaining skill levels with the Anons . They are staying right in step. For this reason, I have stepped back to baking only in the early morning hours. I have the whole thing on my mind all day but mentally had to take a break. Last Night I was baking and I baked my 1st loaf just fine… As a matter of fact I had to wait through 20 replies to post the link to my new bread.

The 2nd loaf (bad on me) I did not realize that I needed to bake again until post 733 (caught up trying to decide if I agreed on a nominated notable, LOL). I got caught up and kept failing the captcha, even though I know I entered it right at least 2 or 3 times - I chalked it all up to being too late to bake. Ebaker gave me the bread back

3rd Loaf, I did everything correct, plenty of time… I still could not post the thread this time, It said I was failing the captcha, numerous times (I even made my teenager come over and verify, just to quadruple check).

An Anon suggested that I re-start my computer and I have done that now… But I am afraid to volunteer to bake again for fear it will happen again. I came to comms and posted a thread, but there is no captcha here.

Okay, so I've been reading baker posts, and it seems a lot of bakers support the idea of IDing themselves, however despite prodding BO appears to be ignoring the issue, so I figured I'd come here to discuss with you guys an alternative proposal on baker ID, although it depends on a number of assumptions.

Am I correct in assuming that on the Q research board, next to the name is a field labeled 'ID' (for example, mine was '9c1564'), which represents some sort of hashed copy of the person's IP address?

And am I correct in assuming you guys largely don't use proxies? Or, to put it more plainly, you use generally 'fairly' static IPs? By fairly static, I mean 'remains consistent for the duration of it's use' (EG 24 hours).

And would it be possible to get the same ID system enabled on this board?

The reason I'm mentioning this is I see a possible temporary 'workaround' that would allow a baker the reasonable ability to confirm their own authenticity.

So what I see is:

Comms has a baker 'sign-in' 'sign-out' thread (can be either separate or same thread).

Any time you come on duty or your IP changes, you 'sign-in' on the thread with your tripcode (along with an ID field populated with the hashed copy of your IP address).

Any time you leave duty, you 'sign-out' on the thread with your tripcode (along with the ID field populated with the hashed copy of the IP address).

When creating a bread, you reference the sign-in thread and say 'ID <whatever> signed in!' - users can then go to the sign-in thread to verify that ID has been signed in.

This also allows bakers to see who is presently on or off-duty (this could be piggybacked with a dedicated 'request baker' thread in comms where a baker links to the thread requesting a hand-off).

It's admittedly crude, and subject to IP changes, but it means if you're signed out and a clown tries to impersonate you, there's a ledger to say 'oh hey, he's not presently signed in, that's a fraud'.

I suspect this method could be refined or improved, and seems inefficient to me, but without BO allowing tripcodes or a secret field or whatever I concur with bakers a system has to be devised.

holding bakers accountable for their mistakes is the 1st step in helping bakers improve

we all have room for improvement

any suggestions would be appreciated.

The way I see it the TC should be used for;

handoffs & baker to baker verification

answering questions in the bread that require a baker's authority

marking the dough

the same TC will be usable at /comms/ and we'll use it there to grow and learn our craft

If not baking it should be used for 1 (one) post to notify others that a baker is available. This should be the 1st post a standby baker makes, all others should be anonymous

Reasons for immediate removal from the whitelist should include but not be limited by;

using the TC on any other board than /qresearch/ and /comms/ unless OK'd by BO

repeated offenses without improvement

subversive activity ~ sabotaging breads ~ spreading lies ~cooperation / collaboration with clowns & shills

being voted out by strawpoll of the general population of anons (poor discernment / critical thinking skills might be a reason)

I would suggest the following procedure for new bakers

go to /comms/ https://8ch.net/comms/catalog.html and generate a TC by posting at /comms/ with ## yourSecretPassPhrase then bake at least one practice bread using the TC

Then when ready to try real time training copy the TC and put it into the name field after the name Apprentice

go to current /qresearch/ bread and post in bread telling baker you want to learn to bake

follow instructions from BAKERs and BO / BVs

I think an appropriate training is a parallel bake with the BAKER posting the bread and Apprentice posting at /comms/ at an agreed post count. (700)

In a bread where a baker is training an apprentice the BAKER should announce 'training bake' and not post 'notables found so far' lists and give no hints to the Apprentice.

The Apprentice baker should gather the current dough along their own notables list and Q posts and at post count ? post the 'real time practice bread' at /comms/ complete with original bread title just as if it were a real bake at /qresearch.

The quality of the bake along with the timestamps will be the exam.

For ANY other website or cause I would not spend the time to type this out. I had to think about this for several days about how to respond or if I should respond. 8-bit YOU are the Chef of the kitchen , when your sous chef serves food day after day out of your kitchen that has nails in it ,then there is a problem .

If the Chef is sitting back in the office while sous chef puts out food everyday and does not heed the complaints day after day. Week after week ,month after month , the othe rworkers in the kitchen(vol bakers like myself ) start to notice and comment, after weeks and months go by of comments .I went off the handle. After seeing ESS baker get banned that one night by the bv I went ballistic. It's bad enough I spend 8 hrs at a time or more some days baking putting my family and everything on the backburner to be ready at any moment to support. I went crazy at the end there. You also did not post any of the good work I have done and only selectively noted to Rusty my bad contributions. That's ok I am a vicious fighter for what I believe in and I deserved to be dealt with the way i was dealt with . I understand .

However . I saw a few days ago there was a BV removed permanently for all the reasons I have been alerting the Chefs to all these months. So in reality while my presentation was bad and quite rude I was right in my attempts to get you to remove the bad guys from behind the power levers. I notice how nice the bread has been the last few days and I see also the need for bakers in situations that I am completely capable of helping. I would say I have at least 60 breads exp by now or close to that. I am one of the most dedicated supporters of Q out there and I want to rejoin my team . I am completely redeemable and I hope that you can see from my perspective somewhat . We make good bread and then the clowns come in and crap it up . After many many many times I got fired up . After Anons were being banned for quoting Q that was it . I made a mistake but I want another chance now that the bad guy or girl was removed . I think that I was justified although I went a bit too far in some ways but by no means was I a constant pain in the ass . I was a PITA during prime bag bv hours. I noticed my bake video was removed from the helper files as well . No big deal but I don't want the good guys here to think I was not going to admit my mistakes and own them. I accept the consequences but I feel I was right you know . Chef is responsible for the kitchen staff.

No matter what happens I want you to know my heart was in the right place and still is. Q team winning and President Trump getting 3 or 4 terms is why I am here . The future of our children is why I am here and why I am posting this as I know I was wrong but right too. War is what it is and i was really protecting what this is all about by alerting. If I can't bake and help anymore that si fine as well . I will help Q team in other ways. Nothing can stop the mission of Q and Anons. I just wanted to let you know I am redeemable Chef . The kitchen and food look way better . I am on your team you can count on me always.

You are still learning grasshopper. You are new to the chans it takes years to acclimate and some never achieve it. You did do some good work and perhaps I've 'thrown the baby out with the bath water' I'm going to take some time to review all this.

I'll be double damn sure of my facts before I start promoting something that will cause another schism.

Hi Rusty , Thank you very much for your timely response and professional attitude as well as I can tell you are a extremely experianced individual who has really good leadership skills. I really enjoy talking to you always . I also am very much apreciate the understanding of my freak out on BO/BV's whom I also appologise in the best way possible considering. I can't stand seeing the Lords bread destroyed by evil especially evil who holds the wheel of the ship in the waves. I know we have a ROCK solid bunch of amazing bakers and I will follow whatever you think is needed in my permitted section . I do believe some sort of ID would be best for bakers considering how serious of a platform this is.Even if its not trips or namefagging. I know if it was my crew of BV's I would immediatly shut all work down at the first sign of BV editing of breads or funky banning. Being completely on my own almost my whole life I learned fast . If there is a rasin in your bread mix that cannot be in there you dump the dough out on the cutting board and sift thru it until it is removed. I don't want to go the food and bev analogy too much but it works . I want Q bread to be perfect in every way. I am for sure willing to do whatever it takes to support my bake crew .I know how hard it is when no one will take the bake and its just an empty hallway. I want to be there for Qteam and President Trump/baketeam Anons at a moments notice. I think your 2 links are showing there needs to be some sort of handoff procedure to know if its a good baker or not. I will for sure do what I have with what I have now . I am painting who is Qanon on my truck tailgate and I am going to do more to help in my own way until Big Dawgs decide what to do here. I know one thing, I trust 2 people in this whole situation . I'm going to post in the board as my non vpn ip here and ask to help Bake if I see an emergency. If BO says no thats fine but I have never ever baked a bad bread besides amateur errors so I am hopeful he or BV will let me . I go my metalbaker or early Am baker and I post with the Trump on the NFL field memes so people know its me . I seen several calls for help and I just sat there silent because. I will also for sure do my best to help in any way while you are gone so you can rest easy. As for baking… my advice… I'd go ahead and volunteer if you see a need. Do not force it, if the BO or BV says no, then be courteous and don't make a scene. I think they might not object, I'm not sure about them and some of the decision s I've seen them make so…

I am working on one of those billboard ads too and going to try to get my boss to pay for it. Using all my brain power and faith to help Q win this war . It's FAR from over.
