Has she got a fucking casette walkman? Well I know hipsters use them now but I'd like to think this decade's fashions are only going to come around once. Also isn't NAASA from that joke video where niggers got to the moon in 1964 with rockets welded to a school bus? Also the ship's engines still appear to be functioning after it got blown in half, but the rear section doesn't end up any significant distance from the rest.

When you look at new media, especially aesthetics in mass media, there is more and more throwbacks, pastiches, and revivalism. This is true in scifi especially. People who get popular for and are paid to create stories and art either can't or don't want to come up with anything new. Past decades had their time in spotlight multiple times already, and it looks like they will.
