Am I the only one who finds his "conversion" to Christianity complete bulls-? After a 20 years or so of writing s-ty books about his sex life and teaching socially awkward men to pick up unstable women at bars, he finally realizes at the age of 40 (as soon as his looks are fading away) that premarital sex is wrong and sinful. He's just desperately trying to cash in on a virgin tradwife. It's literally just the male equivalent of "I'm ready to settle down".

Based on his behavior after his conversion hes been very consistent, and I haven't see him lapse. Why do you care about his age or sexual history? He's repentant most importantly and we should pray he finds a good wife.

I don't know who he is but there's the Biblical proverb of the laborers in the vineyard; those who came late got the same reward as those who started out.
As for mind reading the motives of someone else - e.g. "He's just desperately trying to cash in on a virgin tradwife." I wouldn't pretend to be a mind reader; at least I wouldn't admit to being a mind reader tho' I've done it in the past it is not something I can control. Even Padre Pio could only detect the sincerity of a confession and nothing more.
And it's not like converts were issued a 18 year old version on joining the Church. If marriage is his intent, he is more likely to find a widow or convert of his own age.

Let's give the poor man the benefit of the doubt. Sinners aren't going to come to Jesus and even consider repentance if we are too harsh towards people trying to change.

I doubt he is going to find a woman, specially because he lives with his mom.
Spending an year travelling around for orthodox monasteries in the US probably sealed the deal that he is going to be single all his life. You can't go back after that.
