take the fatalism blackpill.
>We ultimately have no control of what happens in this instance
Seems you already kind of get it.
Do not put faith in any man-made system or government, these will all let you down, instead put faith in the Lord and his promises. -I'm not saying completely cut yourself off from politics, but get your political exposure down to being just actual policy, and much much less (none) media sensationalism. Escape the constant news cycle that social media bombards you with -unfollow virtually every news outlet or better yet, get rid of social media altogether. I mean what use is 98% of it anyways? Replace your time and interest for that poison, with time and interest for things that actually count for something; hobbies, fitness, friends, prayers/scripture, study.
I've taken my life back from constant weariness due no thanks to over-exposure to politics/sensationalism. Now I feel much happier, I feel at peace. I've actually developed a prayer life. It's funny -life ain't any easier than it was before I cut all that s— off, and it looks set to only get worse, but I'm a lot less anxious and no longer depressed at all. I actually have faith in Jesus.
Regarding the trials you face in life:
Phil 4:10-13
>I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
>I can do all things through [Christ] who strengthens me.
Philipians 4:6
>Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Matt 6:25-34
>Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
>And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
>Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
>Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
