I think you can look into this stuff, BUT there are a few cautions I'd give before continuing:
1. Have a firmly rooted foundation in your faith and be more advanced that most people.
2. Before you read, say a prayer like, "Lord, I am studying this because I want to know more about the enemy which I seek to defeat. Guard my eyes, guard my heart, guard my mind, my soul and my spirit and I break off every evil from this in the name of Jesus, Amen."
3. If anything awkward starts to happen, immediately cease reading.
I do think it's alright to know this stuff, but the concern I have is, if you're not careful, it can comeback bad. I knew a guy who tried to exorcise a demon and was possessed himself. So, tread carefully, if at all.
