Does anybody care? It's called the Church of the Glorious Martyr, dated to around 600 AD (it may actually be older).

I don't think even 1 Christian exists. You tell a Catholic, you tell anyone "Christian" - they don't care. It's a "salvage operation". That means the church grounds will be destroyed. Could ISIS/ISIL be so cruel as the Jews?
Why it's special: The church demonstrates a different (earlier? or divergent?) theology than Orthodox or Catholic, but it's obviously not Protestant. It contains zero icons. Zero. There are birds and trees, but it's obvious that they aren't worshipped (or prayed to), but are symbolic (possibly of Christ and the cross, respectively).

I should mention that there's a small crypt, and, though no icons/statues were found there, the archaelogist thinks they would have been displayed there.
That's speculation. If you didn't know about the cult of Vesta, they you'd think there was a statue in the temple of the vestal virgins - there was of course none.
