God promised Abraham that his descendants would rule many nations. You can read and follow the Bible but if you google a full view of biblical genealogy you can follow it here: The Abrahamic promise is passed down through Sarah, and Isaac, until it reaches Jacob (who is later renamed to Israel) who goes on to father what would become the 12 tribes of Israel. Every tribe has/ had a country, before the tribes were dispersed amongst the nations of the world. How you choose to interpret it from here can be even more of a rocky take than all of this has been. I know (and believe) Nordic tribes are well understood to be of the tribe of dan. Members of the tribe of Dan are said to be warriors who conquer lands and rename everything in its honour and the most obvious example is the Danube- if you look into it celts and Germanics named a lot of s— after dan. Which is pagan but it would imo be feasible to believe that despite that, that it’s very in character of them to act in a biblical w manner before it would’ve been possible to know 90% of what Northern Europe was up to
Jews tell you they’re descendants of Ishmael to lie to you. They’re quite literally the descendants of Judah. Judea and Israel were at war for a long time, king David came from the country of Benjamin, he was the man who united the tribes of Israel (because Benjamin was between Judaea and Israel) and was not Jewish(by blood); it would be very inconvenient if you were to find that out.
There’s a lot more that can be said but I’m very very far from an expert I suggest you look into the following channels which are run by the same person- his (not irl) name is Reuben.
