The Constitution Party gratefully acknowledges the blessing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Creator, Preserver and Ruler of the Universe and of these United States. We hereby appeal to Him for mercy, aid, comfort, guidance and the protection of His Providence as we work to restore and preserve these United States.

This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions but on a foundation of Christian principles and values. For this very reason peoples of all faiths have been and are afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.

The goal of the Constitution Party is to restore American jurisprudence to its Biblical foundations and to limit the federal government to its Constitutional boundaries.

The U.S. Constitution established a Republic rooted in Biblical principles of governance, administered by representatives who are constitutionally elected by the citizens. In such a Republic all Life, Liberty and property must be protected as unalienable rights from our Creator.

>This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions but on a foundation of Christian principles and values

This just isn't true. The church has acted with great evil by lying to their congregations for the last few hundred years to make them believe the US was founded as a Godly nation when the exact opposite is true. Classic liberal republics are just the reign of the merchant class. The church and the king were stripped of power in classic liberal republics so that the godlessness of the merchants could go unchecked.

Classic liberal republics are godless by design. They are a freemasonic experiment that has as the end goal the complete elimination of God. All the early founders made plenty of Christian statements because they were politicians, and politics were just as sleazy back then as they are now. For instance, in two hundred years scholars will be claiming that the Clintons were Christians.

What is the justification for rule in classic liberalism? The "will of the governed". Not the will of God, but the will of man. Before the US European societies were always ruled under the belief that the monarch ruled by the grace of God. Many of them were actually evil men and their governments were evil but no matter how evil they were they at least acknowledged the sovereignty of God. The rule of the merchants doesn't. The rule of the merchants is so much more evil than the rule of kings that there is no comparison. And the philosophers that created classic liberalism were skeptics. They didn't believe in truth much less God.

Right now you're just trotting out some tired old lie that needs to be exposed.

That and the Christian Liberty Caucus are a few good things that they have going for them. But the LP party on the whole will continue to push pro-choice candidates and pander to the LGBT++++ community. It has sizable tribes within it that are diametrically opposed to each other. Even Hoppe realizes some people have to go if you are going to accomplish anything.

It's my judgment that at present it's worth joining the good members of the LP because it's not actually about winning a sham presidential election it's about proliferating libertarian philosophy

I get it. I was a member of the LP at one time. But as a Christian I cannot in good faith support the parties positions.

>it's about proliferating libertarian philosophy

There are better ways to do that in my opinion. I support the Mises Institute and other libertarian organizations, but I cannot give vote or money to the LP if it remains pro-choice.

Understandable

I would counter that the republican and democrat parties both also lead to the loss of life because they are neither anti war

I agree, which is why I will definitely support the Constitution party on the ground and state level. Because more can be seen at stake at the Federal level, that will have some degree of influence on my vote.

>It is important to emphasize that the "pro-Trumpers" among us are far from being pure and enthusiastic partisans who overlook the President's faults and hypocritically excuse him where they would not excuse others as so often the accusation goes. The difference in outlook between these schools of thought actually turns on a rather fine point. Both sides deplore sin, ours and his, to the same degree. The difference turns upon the weight assigned to the moral imperatives connected with the presidential office on the one hand, and, on the other, the practical imperatives of a dilemma presented to Christians by a particular situation, unencountered with this level of intensity to this point in the history of the United States. That dilemma is whether decisions about the moral failings of Mr. Trump, which would in another era disqualify him among the ethically concerned, are, at this time and place, overweighed by the dangers of not supporting him.

Hit the send button on accident. Meant to add that this article except from Touchstone represents somewhat the attitude I have when thinking about the presidential election.

LP= larp party. the libertarians are pathetic in every way they can be. For them the constitution is a religious text and yet for their devotion none of them even understand it. The libertarians are just the fools gathered together by the koch brothers to drown their society in evil and open the floodgates of immigration, all from some misguided devotion to a document that they believe is magic.
