How do you forgive your enemies when everybody agrees with them and thinks you deserve what you got? How do you forgive yourself for your mistakes and shortcomings?

If they're evil you shouldn't forgive them. You should punish them. If you're evil by your own standards you need to rethink your standard of evil. This is unironically the polar opposite of how normies think and why the west is falling

>How do you forgive your enemies when everybody agrees with them and thinks you deserve what you got?

Since when does public opinion factor in to God's absolute, objective, unwavering justice?

If you're certain what you got wasn't what you deserved then those who punished you and sided with your punishers are in the wrong and you should forgive them and pray that they see the light. What's right is right and that's that.

>How do you forgive yourself for your mistakes and shortcomings?

Remember that at the moment of your conception, God predicted every blunder you would commit and still loved you with a such a strong love, it surpasses the greatest love any human, including yourself, could possibly have for you.

When you know that you're loved no matter what, you can accept your blunders as well, pushing forward into the future, growing in faith, making blunders along the way, knowing those blunders won't negate the fact that you're loved.

By doing it

You don’t need your own forgiveness, you need God’s

There's a prayer floating around the Internet that goes: "Thanks for everything. I have no complaints whatsoever." I'm not suggesting you bludgeon your mind into accepting this. But if you try saying the prayer a few times, you should be able to _feel_ what it's like to have a forgiving mind.

Don't let them live rent free in your head. Occupy it with the glory of God instead.

Sounds like a self-righteous version of 'The Lord gives and the Lord takes, blessed be the name of the Lord'.

Your is all about I - (I) thank you for everything, I have no complaints.

>By doing it

This is false though, forgiveness is for the penitent (or at best for the invincibly ignorant), not proud sinners who refuse to make ammends. We pray that they see the error of their ways and ask forgiveness of God, but we're not beholden to forgive those who abuse us without regret. This is what so many Christians don't get, not holding a pointless grudge or being spiteful =/= forgiveness. Literally not even God forgives those who won't ask for forgiveness.

Sounds like a really crummy prideful prayer that presumes that it's our place to register "complaints" to God abiut what we're given.

This is good. Also what we perceive as a sin because of what society taught us might actually be a virtue in God's eyes. Justice and a healthy amount of racism are the obvious ones.
