Is anger unChristian?
I felt angry at someone bullying insecure people today, intentionally trying to make them feel suicidal, and was relishing the idea of them receiving justice, but then I realized that I myself had made someone else also feel bad through my own insensitivity only just yesterday. I wasn’t being sadistic, but the end result was the same.

You see this is why Jesus being the Logos is important. Logic isn't going to pick up a whip and fight evildoers but it might drive men to do so. St Aquinas said not being angry when you should be is a sin. Don't harm or kill people though unless it's in Minecraft.

The minor theological differences spring forth from different faith. For one, Orthodox believe Gehenna (sometimes translated as hell) is not the privation of God's being or love. We believe the fire of hell is God's full love perceived by he who hates God and loves the world.
Much against the catholic worldview of punishment being akin to legal worldly judges, we believe it is akin to self-flagellation - much like drug addicts and sodomites bring misery upon themselves.
Regarding Logos, it is not logiké or logic. Logos has many translations like speech, word or thing. In biblical context it means Christ, who was not angry at our sins but was merciful.
See John 18:21-23 if you're in doubts what turning the other cheek when slapped means. Christ was slapped.

The Bible says in Ephesians 3, Paul prayed to feel the full range of emotions of God. If that's the case, then it stands to reason God feels anger because that's the opposite of love. To support this, we can see Jesus had anger quite a bit, mostly with the Pharisee. So then it seems the anger was directed. As such, we can conclude there was a righteous anger when people were mistreated, as the Pharisee were doing. I think that's a key. The Pharisee knew better and most of the time acted horrible to their underlings. And these bullies are acting horrible too to an innocent individual. Based on what you said, it sounds like a form of righteous anger and I think it may be just. We need to examine all aspects to conclude whether it's all right or wrong.

You're brainwashed if you think bullying is just bad. I'm convinced there is a brainwashing campaign going on, trying to convince everybody bullying is horrible, and I'm convinced this is one of the reasons for the autism epidemic.

You'll notice there's not any Scripture being referenced by these new-agers. In the current zeitgeist it is trendy to declare yourself anti-hate, even while inwardly hating others that rebuke sin, so that's what they do.

Feh, what in heaven or hell is going on in this thread? Anyways, yes. Anger is unchristian.
>I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgement
And you especially shouldn't incite someone to kill themselves. All things may be forgiven, and sometimes anger is good, but as a whole it is bad.
Insensitivity is not the same as anger, though it may have the same result. It is an accident. But just as one ought avoid an accident which kills, one should avoid insensitivity. Nevertheless, we must speak the truth in love.

That's taken from a modern version. The KJV says this:
>But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:
You posted a corrupted version of Matthew 5:22. What you posted also makes no sense because God has wrath and it is righteous, including the time Jesus drove out the money changers from the temple grounds.
Am I saying be an angry person? No. Remember what Paul wrote in Ephesians:
>Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
>and sometimes anger is good,
And now you just contradicted yourself. Something that is unchristian cannot be good. This confusion arises from the fact you quoted a corrupted version of Matthew 5:22, read the KJV to avoid this in the future.

*Jeopardy voice* What is sex?
Also if you look at the Greek text it just says "He will be liable to judgement" using the same "liable" as "the one who murders shall be liable to judgement" and is used mostly interchangeably with "guilty". KJV-only is not great but is here utterly irrelevant and I can only assume you brought it up just to correct me on something.
