Is this real? I'd like to believe it is but there are apparently testimonies from eye witnesses who claim the fire is not a miracle but lit with a lighter or a match or another candle while the Patriarch goes into the tomb alone. I have seen videos of people claiming the fire does not burn but honestly they just run their hand or clothes or hair through it really fast which anyone can do, I can do it with a lighter or candle and not get burned. What are we to make of this? If this is a lie how could the numerous Patriarchs keep is going though?

sure if pass fast your hand on a candle you don't get burn, but even if you are fast hairs, hair and beards burn istantly, try with a lighter

from what I understand, this holy fire still is heated, that's why you can't leave your hand on the flame, but it doesn't burn, meaning that indeed people doesn't lose their beards or hair, as you can see in the videos
