>coronavirus starts spreading

>my priest doesn't take it seriously and dismisses my concerns as baseless hysteria

>pray frequently that I can somehow convince him to take this seriously

>some time passes

>I get exposed to coronavirus

>I have to isolate myself

>call my priest and tell him that I have been exposed

>the event really shakes him and he agrees that we need to protect our laity

>more time passes

>I never came down with anything

>coronavirus got worse in my area

>my parish does online broadcasting now

>all of my parish family are safe

It still makes me laugh. It was scary as hell when it was happening, but now that its over, thinking that God answered my prayers in this way just makes me laugh just thinking about it. Does anyone else have any other stories about times God answered your prayers?

I was in Tijuana for a mission trip. My group would usually put on a demonstration in the afternoon, after we did manual labor in the morning, and then go out evangelizing. Every single time we see people come to know the Lord. One day, we do it and we go out to talk to people. I see a guy and I'm scared. I know he wants prayer, but I'm too scared. A friend walks up and talks to him and we realize he has kidney issues, like me. So my friend grabs me and we all pray.

Later that night I'm at the hotel. I start getting angry, "God, why did you bring me here? I'm a failure, I can't speak the language, I'm too scared to talk to the people. Why am I here?" I simply hear, "you'll see something tomorrow."

Tomorrow we do the same, but this time after the skit, I see one guy by himself. I go up and talk to him. He needed to speak to our pastor. He ends up inviting us to perform in front of 2,500 students at his school. I was blown away. I could not believe it.

It is baseless hysteria. The numbers arent a base, the numbers themselves are mostly baseless.
