Although I love and appreciate Fr. Mike and what he does in regards to helping new converts and those who fell away understand the faith in a calming but passionate way. He brings to much emotions and feelings which is fine but we are told to be wary of doing it.

He is right though. Confession is your triumph over Satan and the powers of hell. Never be ashamed to confess look at it as a part of the war for your soul and you are drawing a line in the sand against the Devil himself.

While as a Benedictine I understand we aren't supposed to be excessively emotional about spiritual matters, I appreciate the passion the Fr. Mike and the other folks at Ascension and such organizations have. It helps with building a connection to those looking on from the outside. Passion about religious matters is one of the few passions that's generally encouraged even among monks.

Other than that though, both vids are good enough in their own rights.
