Are they? Generally posters here call idolatry things like veneration of statues/images/relics or people who aren't Jesus. Both are associated with Cathodox, not Protestantism.

The fact of the matter is St. Michael and the rest of the saints are in the body of Jesus Christ. We can ask them to pray for us like you ask us to pray for you.

Pray=asking

Prayer =/= worship.

The book of Revelation shows the saints worshipping God, singing hymns, playing instruments, making requests to Christ to avenge their martyrdom, and offering prayers for the saints on earth (Rev. 4:10, 5:8, 6:9-11).
