Satan and the demons never experienced this beatific vision since the first decision they ever made was to reject God. You also share great communion with Saints of those who are in heaven with you.

tl;dr heaven is where you're made whole and not just some earthly paradise like Eden.

You will be pure, whole. You will be able to see God, along with all the saints. I imagine it would be like coming home after a long journey. No more pain, no more anxiety, no more struggles, everything will make sense from a higher perspective.

I personally hope we will still have bodies, be able to travel and eat and drink, and listen to music that we could not have fathomed on this earth.

I think you need to remember that we only really need to overcome hardship as men because of Adam's curse to toil in the dirt and suffer from it, before the fall Adam rested constantly in God's presence and with the animals God created for him, I think it would be similar to this. We'll be able to finally see God's face and be at peace, in eternal wonder and glory
