The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Do other religions share the same moral foundation of christianity at their core (in some sense) or do other religions contradict christian beliefs in a fundamental sense?

>Mormons, Muslims, Gnostics, Roman Catholics, Jehova's Witnesses…

One of those is not like the others.

Catholics literally have true doctrine of the Trinity and the Incarnation. How new are you? See: the Nicene Creed and the Chalcedonian Definitin.

Don't feed the Andersonian, brothers.

Just pray, hide, report.

>just say "well Orthodox aren't Christian either"

You're right. Eastern Palamatism is an 800 year old heresy that's tantamount to atheism.

Palamas didn't change Orthodox doctrine one bit.

If you believe in General Revelation and that the Law of God is written on every human heart, then, yes, in a sense.

the revelation is written in everyone's hearts. That's why all cultures will agree more or less on the basics (killing is wrong and so on). That's the natural law. But it's important to keep in mind that while Buddha, Mohammed, Lao Tse and all others point a certain doctrine, Jesus affirms HE is the doctrine. While they say "x is the way. I teach the way", Jesus says HE is the way.

The moral absolutes can be found in pretty much all the cultures, but it was necessary for God to become flesh and point us directly to Him. On the moral absolutes of different cultures you can read The Abolition of Man by C.S. Lewis. He writes on it.

Buddhism, Hinduism, and other dharmic religions.

Whereas we think life is fundamentally good and think of existence and reality as worthy things, they think that life is fundamentally pain and undesirable and that existence and reality are just imposed illusions and that unconsciousness is the best.
