Why can't they cut their losses, and establish an Israel else-where such as a geographical location where tribes haven't been squabbling and shedding so much blood over thousands of years to conquer, and will do so to the end of time?

If they think God is so powerful, why not choose a geographical location such Alaska? Do they honestly think that the entity that created the universe couldn't locate this new israel, or ask for directions to find it?

There was even a senator who suggested carving out a piece of Texas to establish a new Israel.

"Defended itself" is kind of a stretch. The USA currently is aiding them around $4 billion a year, I think.

And to add insult to injury, they have better employment rates than the US. We're aiding people who are, pound for pound, actually better off. On top of that, there are a myriad of indirect ways the US helps them. By playing the stumbling 50 foot fool, who tramples Middle Eastern countries at random, destroys political and military infrastructure of all surrounding nations, complete crushing any chance of a viable threat to Israel (no, goat herding terrorists and angry children don't count.).
