58.

MAN WAS CREATED AFTER THE OTHER ANIMALS.

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and the cattle after their kind. . . . And God said, Let us make man. . . . So God created man in his own image. (Gen. 1:25, 26, 27.)

MAN WAS CREATED BEFORE THE OTHER ANIMALS.

And the Lord God said it is not good that man should be alone; I will make a help-meet for him. And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air, and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them. (Gen. 2:18, 19.)

59.

SEED TIME AND HARVEST WERE NEVER TO CEASE.

While the earth remaineth, seed time and harvest . . . shall not cease. (Gen. 8:22.)

SEED TIME AND HARVEST DID CEASE FOR SEVEN YEARS.

And the seven years of dearth began to come. . . . And the famine was over all the face of the earth. (Gen. 41:54, 56.)

For these two years hath famine been in the land; and yet there are five years in which there shall neither be earing [archaic term for “plowing”—JBH] nor harvest. (Gen. 45:6.)

60.

GOD HARDENED PHARAOH’S HEART.

But I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go. (Ex. 4:21).

And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh. (Ex. 9:12.)

PHARAOH HARDENED HIS OWN HEART.

But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them. (Ex. 8:15.)

61.

ALL THE CATTLE AND HORSES IN EGYPT DIED.

Behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep. . . . And all the cattle of Egypt died. (Ex. 9:3, 6.)

ALL THE HORSES OF EGYPT DID NOT DIE.

But the Egyptians pursued after them (all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army) and overtook them encamping by the sea. (Ex. 14:9.)

MOSES FEARED PHARAOH.

And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known. Now, when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled before the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian. . . . And it came to pass, in process of time, that the king of Egypt died. . . . And the Lord said unto Moses, in Midian, Go, return unto Egypt; for all the men are dead which sought thy life. (Ex. 2:14, 15, 23; & 4:19.)

MOSES DID NOT FEAR PHARAOH.

By faith he [Moses] forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king. (Heb. 11:27.)

THERE DIED OF THE PLAGUE TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND.

And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand. (Num. 25:9.)

THERE DIED OF THE PLAGUE BUT TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND.

And fell in one day three and twenty thousand. (1 Cor. 10:8.)

JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS ELIAS.

This is Elias which was to come. (Matt. 11:14.)

JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS NOT ELIAS.

And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? and he said I am not. (John 1:21.)

THE FATHER OF JOSEPH, MARY’S HUSBAND, WAS JACOB.

And Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus. (Matt. 1:16.)

THE FATHER OF MARY’S HUSBAND WAS HELI.

Being the son of Joseph which was the son of Heli. (Luke 3:23.)

THE FATHER OF SALAH WAS ARPHAXAD.

And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years and begat Salah. (Gen. 11:12.)

THE FATHER OF SALAH WAS CAINAN.

Which was the son of Sala, which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad. (Luke 3:35, 36.)

THERE WERE FOURTEEN GENERATIONS FROM ABRAHAM TO DAVID.

So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations. (Matt. 1:17.)

Multiple traditions, multiple writers, multiple editors, apparent contradictions that aren't real contradictions (in any sense), etc, etc. None of this is new and has been solved. Stuff like Pharoah has been solved, the Genesis stuff, the generations. Look it up and stop falling for every meme that comes your way.

Contradictions prima facie but nothing to seriously challenge the validity of scripture as inerrant.

The Genesis 1 through 2:3 account establishes a chronology of events, while from Genesis 2:4 onward is the generations of the heavens and of the earth. It is not purporting to go against the chronology of Genesis 1:1 through 2:3.

Not everywhere.

First pharaoh hardened his own heart and later God did. Both happened.

False. Exodus 9:4 says specifically that the cattle would die, not the horses. Why did you skip over it?

Where does it say that?

23,000 died in the first day, one thousand additional died after.

The Luke 3 geneaology includes son-in-law, so Heli was Mary's biological father and Joseph is his son-in-law. Thus Mary descended from David by his son Nathan whereas Joseph descended from David by his son Solomon.

>THE FATHER OF SALAH WAS CAINAN.

Same thing. Luke 3 includes son-in-laws. Notice how all the others say 1 begat 2 begat 3; but Luke 3 says 3 was the son of 2 was the son of 1.

>THERE WERE BUT THIRTEEN GENERATIONS FROM ABRAHAM TO DAVID.

I see fourteen names. Abraham being the first one and David being the fourteenth.

He was the type of that prophet. Also it is said in Luke 16:29 that "They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them."

Almost all 'contradictions' found in The Bible can be easily resolved like this with nothing more than a closer look. When atheists spam Bible verses claiming that they contradict, it's sort of like how baptists spam bible verses they think support their position but generally don't have anything to do with the matter at hand.
