If brain surgeries such as lobotomies can change the personality of someone, what if doctors may one day be able to wrest control over the chemistry and/or structure of our brains to one day control our bodies and minds fully?
With this control, what if they force a Christian to denounce Christ, and commit horrible sins? Would that mean free will is not true, and we are only governed by our brains, and that the world is deterministic?
Looking for some Christian arguments relating to this, it's something that has been giving me a hard time.
