Yeah, you said that back when we said gay marriage would lead to what we had two years ago this.

At the risk of sounding edgy, I've come to the belief that capital punishment is the only true and loving way to deal with pedophilia. I know academics used to push that it was just a sickness that could be cured, but we all know it isn't. No pedo will ever be rehabilitated. They are at peak reprobation. For the sake of our children's souls and even their own souls is there any way other than giving them a chance to repent before decapitation? Even if they cloister themselves and never again act on any of their desires, they are still reprobate and will be burning in hell once they die. I don't see another way to apply soteriological ethics to the situation.

Or, let's be more accommodating here and say: we don't know the cure, if there even is one, at this point in time. The intelligent thing would be to treat this as a plague with no cure, like the Black Death in its time. Burn everything that bears the plague until such time as our science has improved to the extent where it can actually be treated.
