Oh there's plenty of asbestos inside of the particulate layer! But I don't use the filter since it's from the 60s,its my great grandfathers. I'm going to buy some гп5 filters for Christmas (which also have asbestos but are newer and arnt expired) as well as P3 filters which I can cut up and put inbetween the filter and the hose! P3 is rater for filtering asbestos so it makes it safe and its overall much cheaper to do this to get a safe working filter than buying Fp5 filters and such. But dw I what I'm doing fammalam!!
