Usually it's something along the line of
>My mom or dad, fuck them, took me to a church sponsored event on purity when I was a teenager
>They told me that I couldn't wear what were essentially denim underpants
>Now I feel unsecure in my many relationships that I have
I just have no sympathy at all at this point. I went to a church that had maybe a little of this, but it at least wasn't a big thing. I went to church actively and listened to what they said. I didn't always act the way that I was taught to, but I at least felt bad that I didn't and I accepted what I was taught so long as I didn't see a compelling argument against it. Meanwhile the thots and guys who weren't socially retard went around dating and acting inappropriately and having what seems to have been a fun time.Years pass and now I'm supposed to feel bad for them because one or two afternoons they were told not to be sluts. These woman are going around and having boyfriends and potentially getting married while I was socially outcast by the church, but I need to feel bad for them. I still can't have a relationship with a woman whatsoever, but I should feel bad for them because they are inconvenienced in the many relationships they are able to have. I just really don't have sympathy and I want them to shut up already

>in what way were you socially outcasted by the church?
I was specifically treated differently by youth pastors and volunteer staff in junior high and highschool youthgroups. The kids who were misbehaving got a lot of attention, which would make sense on some level, but they weren't really spoken against in any way other than in private. Not saying they should have been called out by name or anything, but their public sins were hardly addressed. Also the female leaders, usually early twenties with a minimum two years out of highschool, had a tendency of messing with relationships between the less questionable couples and seemingly encouraging the questionable couples. There were established cliques and pastors would speak against these kind of behaviors from the pulpit and then behave in ways that re-established existing cliques. Repeatedly throughout my times at that church I tried to not be a NEET-in-training loser and repeatedly pastors and volunteer staff behaved in ways that further isolated me. It's really because of two or three dudes that were pushy about being my friend and helping me out in highschool that I didn't kill myself.
I probably do have some problems to work out in these regards, but it doesn't pop up too much now in days. I've been going to an Orthodox Church now for three or so years now, around two as a member, and the problems are at least different ones, which makes things more bearable.

The women at least locally don't care about what is true. There are exceptions of course, but it's to the degree that when you find one that does there's nearly an unofficial fan club. There are some nice women around, but their beliefs are retard which keeps me from really considering them as a potential gf. It's usually just basic feminist stuff, but I couldn't let that into a family of mine or have children raised in that, so even though it's kinda minor nonsense it's enough to keep me from considering them. On top of the local situation I'm too retarded to communicate successfully so whenever an issue comes up I say things that are true, but not neatly wrapped up in a way for them to hear it, so over time I'm convinced that I've been given essentially a "that guy" personality that will probably be continually passed along so future women will out of hand not consider me. I've got a great escape fantasy in the works though, so I have hopes that can keep me going that will probably be crushed once I get set up where ever I end up

Stop thinking of church as a social club and start focusing on learning more about God and developing your relationship with him. Any social aspects of the church come from the fact that such things naturally develop when groups of people gather in a single place. Don't go to church trying to find a gf, but rather consider yourself blessed if you happen to accidentally find a gf at church. It took me a while to learn this, but once I did it made attending church much better.

I've basically given up on women, at least for the time being, so I don't go to church for a gf. That being said I don't think it's at all unacceptable to think that you're church or a local church in communion with yours is a good place to find a gf. We should not be marrying people who are not Christians of the same beliefs, so there is no where other than the church to reliably find a wife.

Of course there are some, but the good ones are attracted to spiritually strong men like us. If you clearly state that you want a feminine, dress wearing, devout woman and list yourself as "ultra-traditional" or whatever that setting is, you will find success there. You can set up a profile for free, only communicating via the app costs money. This can be circumvented somewhat by leaving your full name on your profile and the smart ones will make their cm handle the same as their fb/ig handle. In just 3 months I managed to find my very own christ-chan and thank the Lord all the more for it.

I really wish I saved my profile, because in retrospect I laughed at all the pretend, liberal "christian" women who would still message me despite my profile explicitly stating something like: No drugs, no tattoos, enjoys being feminine, enjoys wearing skirts and dresses, church >1/month, limited piercings, natural hair color, family orientated, gym >1/week, 5'2" to 5'10", thin, limited jew media intake, wants kids. They would invariably message me despite breaking about half of them. The good ones want to be approached, then messaged after they look at your profile too, which is why I recommend only getting the 3 month plan instead of the 6. I was starting to get burned out around the 2.5 month mark after getting the 6 month plan, and happened upon my now gf and one day Lord willing waifu right before the 3 month mark.

Not really sure this would qualify for me.
As I said before I'm not exactly on the look out right now, but it's worth looking into as a future possibility I guess. I think the biggest thing holding me back would be pride. If I want it to be successful it seems I would need to put a decent amount of info on that sight as a dude in my early twenties, and anybody could see it as long as they put in the right info, regardless of whether or not it's true. And after someone sees it anyone could that they showed. I guess I don't have much left to actually think much of myself for, but I get really uncomfortable that people from my past could see me grovling online looking for my trad gf>>572233

Self esteem =/= pride. There are tons of lovely christian girls 18-25 on the site. I was starting to burn out because all the christmas cake on the site were either divorced, had kids out of wedlock, hit the wall, desperate looking, etc. You should have much more success than I did if you're just as devout yet younger than I was. One thing I will say is that I also lived up to all of the masculine side of my ideals, don't expect to be a chubby loser and find a 10/10 waifu. I'm 8/10 and my girl is 8.5/10 herself. If you're not confident with yourself, work on your perceived faults like strengthening your faith through study and hitting the gym, no excuses.
>Caring about perceptions
Care about your goals in your faith and your desire for companionship. You're not groveling, you're looking to embark on a proper Christian journey of marriage with a woman you will see as your peer. Who cares about gossip? I had just gotten out of a relationship and found a cousin of my ex at the time, I sent her a message just to mess with both the cousin and my ex. Nothing flagrant mind you, just something like "fancy meeting you here"

that is nonsense. Ideas in people's heads is not the be all end all to how they think for the rest of their lives. open up a little.
>but not neatly wrapped up in a way for them to hear it
from you putting it this way, it seems that you need to learn this lesson: it is always the burden of the speaker to speak clearly, not the audience to decipher what the speaker says in his own words. take a look back at how you talk to people. try and critique how you say things and why some people take them negatively. change the way you say things if you arent satisfied with it.

I had forgotten earlier the other reason I had in the past for not trying a dating website. Yes and no. On the one hand they're a couple of kids in way over their heads. They aren't thinking about how fucking around is an affront to God, and they aren't thinking about how marriage is more appropriate than the nymphomaniac sexuality that's so popular these days. Some of them will come back to God, and some of them won't.
Most people who are more dedicated to a religion understand the reasons for it, and the higher the piety of a man or woman the better standing they have overall. Those who are very religious are less likely to be addicted to drugs, have a venereal disease, be abusive in relationships, have births out of wedlock, have abortions, to commit adultery, and so on. The risky behaviors associated with the youth demographic fizzle out in the face of strong religious conviction.
That being said, when one does genuinely want to change their ways and remove themselves from the cock carousel, we shouldn't be contemptible and hateful. Instead we should be trying to show them the error in their way of thinking and acting, and be willing to help them through the change. 'Turning a whore to a housewife' is certainly possible through Christ.
