After a little interaction, the more learned followers of either sect cannot help but apprehend the vast chasm of irreconcilable belief that separate the Eastern and Roman traditions, and the less mature adherents of either convocation will sink to flinging mud at each other.

Please note I don't mean to imply that learning and immaturity are mutually exclusive, since it's quite obvious that most of the users here are in their mid-twenties at most; and 20-somethings are often rather puerile in their extravagances and arrogance.

Orthodox converts from Catholicism are incredibly scared about the judgement of God, seeing as if they are wrong God will judge them harshily for straying away from the truth. So they go full retard sometimes pushed by their insecurity

I hope this is caused by /pol/ coming to Christ. I'd venture that many /pol/acks who have come to Christ would find the tradition and aesthetics of the Orthodox Church appealing. Combine that with the fact that they'd be more likely to believe all the media lies about the Pope, and would be against Catholicism (or really, what they perceive it to be).

There's at least a handful of Catholics on here that can't discuss the Orthodox Church without posturing and name-calling. It's quite bothersome, given that we regularly have to do the opposite to avoid derailing threads.

I personally attempt to be as kind and courteous as possible, but I've been called a schismatic, heretic, and any other number of things more times than I can count. It's quite frustrating and I'm not surprised that other posters are losing their patience.

Not to brag or anything but I've had them call me worse things without even trying. I think the thought of a denomination that was never catholic is something that shouldn't exist, in their minds.
