Christians are being killed and persecuted in the thousands around the world. We expect it - because our Lord told us we would be hated just as He was hated. It is no surprise to us.
So in regards to this most recent shooting in Texas, while each life lost is a tragedy to those left behind, and the number of deaths seems so high, it is more of a shock that these Church shootings don't happen with greater frequency in a United States that has become so antagonistic toward Christ.

Martyrs for the one true faith? No. Martyrs for being at least Christians? Yes.

Most of the adults were probably baptized as most Baptist congregations don't admit full membership until baptism. Many of the children, however, were probably not baptized. We can only entrust the to the mercy of God, and it's possible that if there were any unbaptized adults they would qualify for being baptized of blood.

They literally are though. If you are righteous and filled with the holy spirit and have faith then God will answer your prayers and perform miracles.
