The FBI is responding to the scene of a reported shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas, according to Michelle Lee, spokeswoman for the FBI's San Antonio field office.
Local police also have responded to the scene, which occurred at the First Baptist Church, a witness told CNN. The witness, a cashier at a gas station across the street from the church, said she heard about 20 shots being fired in quick succession while a church service was underway.

When I was a boy, this did happen. A beloved aunt was killed by a church shooter who shot up the church because the congregation would not testify on his behalf in court.

Many states do not allow open carry, so concealed carry is the only means to bring a gun into church, which is what we want. The simple existence of a gun user in a church makes it safer, not that he has concealed carry.
