(1 Timothy 6:5-12)

{5} "Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

{6} But godliness with contentment is great gain.

{7} For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

{8} And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

{9} But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

{10} For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

{11} But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

{12} Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses."

>>541936

If you are going to argue that way then you are doing it wrong. A better arguement would be if kikes didn't own your nation that in order to submit to the authorities romans 13 it is best to tell the ecclesasties 3:18-21 invaders/immigrants to go away. Then to tell the 1 corinthians 15:44 invaders/immigrants that if they aren't doing this by order of a romans 13 to go away also while still having fellowship with them as they pass through.

There are indeed starving so called 'first worlders'. It's just the so called 'first world' has great amounts of false propoganda to hide such things.

Railing and false accusing. I did neither. See. RJ actually is a cult leader. so is anderson.

All I did was say that RJ (Roger jimenez) at sac was targetting north natomas ("rich" people) more aggressively as a racket for soul winning on saturdays. He got mad and contrived a bunch of bullshit to get me kicked out. I'm "evan." RJ and anderson have talked about me in their sermons. Not trying to get a soap box. I have a youtube channel. Not gonna share it because I don't trust the lurking jesuits.

d7c28a No.542090

I agree that this particular documentary is particularly weak. Still, their earlier stuff on Jews was alright. I've since gathered a lot more on my own though.

I wouldn't call it a cult, personally, unless they were bringing some kind of negative consequences to convince you not to leave. As it is, I've already seen way too many people that seem to be just making up stories against them— like that wedding guy— so while I have my differences from the Anderson clique, I don't buy this. And I don't know them personally, this is just my instinct.

Don't you usually have a harder time with rich people? I certainly seem to.

Man does not live by bread alone. Being rich does not make a nation moral. Usually the opposite is the case. The only good parts of the US are rural or small town areas, mostly in the Midwest. The rest of the country puts Sodom and Gemmorrah to shame. Americans should have stayed loyal to their king and not thrown their lot in with Freemasons.

Source: I've traveled that Satanic nation. Washington DC is the capital of Mystery Babylon and the greatest wordly force for evil the world has seen since the days of pagan Rome.

not really, cults tend to prey on weak willed individuals and see those with will equal or greater than the cult leader's as a threat. So Anderson's group can be legitimately seen as a cult, considering how riled up their congregations get when you challenge Anderson or RJ I would say that they definitely trend towards a cult like group

Cults have a number of criteria.

Their belief system has to be novel. There is nothing innovative about Anderson's theology. The less prerogative synonym for "cult" is "new religious movement." There are Baptist churches that have developed into cults, but they've always adopted beliefs that are foreign to Baptism or to Christianity in general. Groups like the Covenant, the Sword, and the Arm of the Lord for example bought into everything from crystal healing to polygamy. Probably the most outlandish thing that Anderson preaches is that the Holocaust never happened, but that isn't even a doctrine of his church.

"Cult" has the connotation of "destructive cult," meaning a group that demands as much wealth, time, and effort from its members as possible, and orders them to perform antisocial actions like breaking the law or committing self-mutilation or suicide. Anderson's church doesn't do these things at all.

Cults use things like blackmail, harassment, death threats, and kidnapping to keep uncooperative or former members in line and silent. Simply kicking someone out is not cultish. Sorry, having a strict leader isn't enough to meet the criteria for being a cult.

981144 No.542625

>>542615

Sorry, I probably didn't make it super clear. I don't think that Anderson is literally a cult, just that his congregation certainly can come across this way. But yes I agree with your categorization of cults, Anderson, while not without his faults, is certainly no Manson or Applewhite.

981144 No.542627

>>542615

Though now that I read you last sentence Applewhite does come to mind. The Heaven's Gate cult didn't do any of the blackmailing, death threats, or harassment that most cults did, so while It is a thing cults will do it is not the rule. Some cults do some don't, the term cult is very contentious and loose

90ff62 No.542634

>>542453

Your post legitimately made me angry, and I'm against nor sympathetic to any of these denominations here.

Taco-munchers are mostly Catholics; even if his family wasn't Catholic, the Mexican naming convention is not the result of Protestantism.

a7d8ea No.542636

>>542627

Yeah some cults do depend on pure charisma rather than strong-arming. You're right that "cult" is a pretty wide term. Applewhite did order his members to castrate themselves and to commit suicide. That's pretty antisocial. Stuff like that and the Mafia tactics are more a matter of connotation, which is why I prefer the terms "new religious movement" and "destructive cult" to be more precise.

These are certainly better terms, again I don't believe Anderson is a cult but I can see why some might assume that at a glance.

>>542638

>Have you actually looked into cults?

I have had a passing interest in cults but I am no expert. Though many experts do say that cult is a broad term with many of what we consider cults falling in and out of the general public concept of a "cult"
