Estoy pensando cambiarme de carrera y estudiar para oficial de alguna de las Fuerzas Armadas, muy probablemente la Armada (aunque el Ejército también es una posibilidad).
¿Cómo es toda la cosa en términos de ingreso, estudios y carrera profesional? ¿Es tan burocrática y nepótica como otras instituciones públicas? ¿Cómo son los sueldos?

Estuve hablando con un familiar ex-Armada y Marina Mercante, dejo mis notas acá para no olvidarme.
PRO:
-El ambiente es excelente, bien organizado y muy disciplinado. Cualquiera que sea jodido es expulsado en poco tiempo
-Está mucho menos estigmatizada (por lo menos ante los "ayy lo treinta mil") que el Ejército, y en algunos ámbitos el uniforme es visto con respeto.
-Las salidas al mar son moderadas (tener en cuenta que navegar muy frecuentemente tiende a causar problemas psicológicos y a dañar relaciones con familiares y amigos)
-El sistema de promoción es bastante meritocrático.
-En los años de estudio a los cadetes se les da comida y un lugar en el que quedarse, y una vez avanzados en la carrera empiezan a percibir sueldo.
-Se enseña una gran variedad de cosas, incluyendo etiqueta.
-Cito, "en la Armada no hay judíos"
CONTRA:
-Las FFAA en general tienen presupuesto muy bajo. Los sueldos no son buenos, y todo equipamiento está bastante hecho mierda. Los barcos son viejos.
-Las salidas no sólo son moderadas, son mínimas. Un navegante de la Marina Mercante navega más en un par de años que alguien de la Armada en toda su carrera.
-En los años de estudio se tiene a los cadetes en la escuela desde los lunes hasta el mediodía de los sábados, con la posibilidad de retenerlos los fines de semana por mala conducta.
-Como consecuencia del punto anterior, cualquier posibilidad de trabajo durante los años de estudio es sumamente limitada.
-La salida laboral es ínfima, sólo se puede trabajar en la Armada o la Marina Mercante.

Yo probablemente me reciba este año, hasta que me den el título de boga igual voy a tener alrededor de 28 años.

Hay que poner en la balanza lo que uno cree que es la institucion militar y lo que es en realidad o ha demostrado ser historicamente…
Malvinas es el caso mas emblematico del despliegue de las fuerzas armadas argentinas, quitando el esfuerzo aportado por la armada y la fuerza aerea, el ejercito fue una panda de canallas, no solo por desplegar practicamente a todos los colimba en vez de usar mas soldados profesionales, sino por darles equipamiento de mierda, usar tacticas simiescas, mientras tanto el alto mando se paso la etiqueta militar, la disciplina y el honor por el ojete. Si hubiesen tenido un minimo de honor, el forro de Menendez se hubiese suicidado despues de firmar la rendicion, pedazo de hijo de puta, igual se hubiese juzgado y ejecutado a todos los oficiales de mierda que dijeron "los chicos estan bien" mientras se morfaban, apropiaban o vendian las donaciones de la ciudadania.
El ejercito argentino tiene de todo menos honor y disciplina, y los unicos momentos que los tuvo fueron las etapas pre-federacion que eran mas bien ejercitos provinciales o rejuntes de gente con ganas de pelear contra los invasores, vease la cruzada de San Martin, Belgrano, etc.
El ejercito argentino, digno hijo de un ejercito italiano, brillo en guerras de cagones como la del Paraguay, 3 paises unidos para devastar uno y manejados los 3 por Inglaterra. Malvinas, vease lo mencionado arriba.
Lo unico que hicieron bien fue el Operativo Independencia, que basicamente fue una operacion contra una fuerza irregular e indisciplinada.
Tomatela, si tenes un poco de amor propio, anda a la armada o a la fuerza aerea, pero basta de ensalzar a los mogolicos del ejercito, hasta politicamente han sido unos inutiles trayendo el neoliberalismo estos paramos en vez de aplicar politica nacionalista. Asco dan.
