There are two characters that many scholars seem to have missed. I intend to point out the flaws in their analyses and to put the plane scene into proper perspective by introducing these unseen (yet big for you) characters.
>You don't get to bring Friends
Now why would CIA assume they are Pavel(heer)'s friends? They are obviously hooded, which implies that Pavel did not want to look at their faces during the drive to the Wreckage Brother; therefore we can conclude that they are in fact, not his friends and CIA, being a smart guy (for you) would infer this much. Dr. Pavel is in fact not saying friends, but rather Frenze, an uncommon surname. Pavel responds by saying they are not Mii Frenze, using the plural form Mii, since he said they are rather than he is, therefore Frenze's name is Mius, the singular form of Mii. Pavel clearly used the plural form to inform CIA that he was, in fact, accompanied by several men, rather than just Mius Frenze. The mystery and size of Mius Frenze remains unknown, but from the respect (or fear) CIA and Pavel are showing him, it can only be assumed he is a big guy.
Another overlooked character is Yiu, whether or not he is related to Juan O'vous is unknown, but it is clear that he is in some way related to the mask and the reason Bane wears it.
>If I pull that off, will Yiu die?
From this we can infer two things. Yiu has a special connection with the mask and therefore Bane, BUT at the same time has an emotional connection with CIA, hence CIA's concern and uncertainty when it comes to pulling the mask off. Yiu might be on the plane, but this is unclear.
The subtleties of the plane scene cannot all be uncovered, obviously, but I felt like this needed to be pointed out.
Bravo Nolan.
