Notice how as soon as pro-Pagan arguments coming from the place of Rome being one of the major foundations of Western Civilization are brought up, the Christians start falling over themselves to make counter-arguments that amount to "Well, c'mon, Rome wasn't THAT great."

This is because they know it's a smoking gun against their "Christianity single handedly made the West Uber!" argument that they love to parrot.

"Italians" are an artifical construct, most northern italians are germanic. Also south tyrolia belongs to germany

OP here, I've been away for a while.

I'm actually Sardinian so we are a pretty distinct haplogroup. Islands tend to do that to species.

Are there any primary documents and not blogs? I really don't mind picking up a book to learn about this stuff. It just feels soulless to read about this stuff of a wiki page or a blog, though I do appreciate the people who dumped links in the thread.

When I say primary documents, I mean that the Hindus have the Vedas and the Christians have the Bible. I doubt it would be that well preserved, but if there's any primary documents like that (I don't know how else to describe it) then I would enjoy reading those instead.

Good luck to you Romanbro. The Roman religious traditions are coming back, just as everyone elses' native faiths are. I don't think it would be too much of a stress to say that the Abrahamic faiths are on the way out, and native paganism is by far on it's way in.

To be fair, if you trace linguistics, you can find most the gods on Tibet. Our ancestors didn't wander into China and get mummified on a desert, the desert was a fucking field, and we went west.

Look into the Darmapalas, even Thor is revered among them. Dharmapala roughly means Protector of Truth.

So don't worry what accent you have, just seek truth in all things, free of expectations.
