>Bolwerk gathers knowledge (with help from others) but what are the rest of us doing?
Bol has his own full time endeavors that he can disclose or not, in terms of raw book collection that is mostly me these days. I've gotten 160 books all properly named (from shit like "roman_religion.pdf" to "Roman Religion in Valerius Maximus - Hans-Friedrich Mueller (2002).pdf") and am about to start sorting them by topic to hit my own mega. I anticipate being finished by sometime today. I also have a whole gaggle of books on the clashes between the roman world and early christendom, in a separate folder that if I have leftover time I'll upload too. Stand by for big things.
>What should we be doing?
Getting smart, mostly. If you want to spread a religion you'll need to stand toe-to-toe with people who would seek to argue against it. Getting strong and learning about war is also of importance due to the looming european happenings.
>Progression in physical fitness, for example, is good. But what should we strive for? Who can lift the most? Who can run the longest? Who can fight the best?
Yes. Though for war and military efforts endurance trumps strength. The man who can march heavy for 30 miles will beat the man who can march heavy for 15 no matter how hard to man who marches 15 can punch or throw or lift. The man who can 50 grenades 80m will beat the guy who can throw 15 grenades 100m.
So you always want to mix up between doing your big "yeman 3pl8" days and then your days you do 1pl8 literally 100 times. Endurance and power are two separate but important aspects.
