So how do you guys go about finding manga to read? I'm not talking about finding a place to DL them from, I'm good there. I'm talking about actually finding a manga that is worth something. Perhaps I'm reading manga for the wrong reason but most stuff I find just reminds me of other, better manga. It's either fetish-shit or boring old people talking about their life with the most bland art, dialogue and characterization possible.
I need my manga to at least have good art, paneling and a premise that works for a manga. Is it just rare for manga to have these things on average? I'm not asking for suggestions. I'm just curious is all.
I'm kind of burned on anime so this seemed like the logical next-step. I also often find manga that simply have terrible translations/scans. It seems common for manga to get translated by people not familiar with basic English grammar.
