I was enjoying the MC's struggles with trying to keep his cool while taking care of fairies who's sole duty is to kamikaze kaiju. Who had a similar mission but ended up surviving. The whole system of creating kamikaze fairies (who happens to be cute girls of course) was to prevent good people like the MC from dying. Instead they can now use disposable creatures who have a short lifespan anyway. It's also interesting how the main girl was actually having a mental breakdown from reaching the end of her lifespan at such an early age.
If it would try to stop being a generic LN every once in a while, I think it would have been great. It feels like wasted potential.
