In fact the biggest problem with this comic is that it accurately emulates all of the worst parts of reality. The MC is plagued with fears and self-doubt and can't bring herself to pursue her dreams. It'll probably end up like that. There's no way she'll enjoy it in this story. There are 2 ways of writing this:

1. A completely unrealistic story of sometime growing to love it after being humiliated in a world with unrealistic reactions and rules.

2. A realistic story in a world that follows generally similar rules as the real world.

Star wrote something that falls into 2 for the most part. It's why this storyline seems so jarring. She spent up to the last 30 or so pages questioning if she even liked diapers, and now she's in a situation where she won't like them. It's now a drama, not some fap story.

This part right here doesn't apply, she's being blackmailed. I agree with you, but I feel differently about this comic. Star spent 6 years creating a story about someone with actual risks if someone found out her fetish, someone who is the exact opposite of nearly everyone else who is able to come to terms with it and doesn't care at all about privacy. Either Star is trying to escape hatch out of this blackmail plot or this is a dream. More stuff happened in the last 10 pages than 100 pages usually. Personally, I think she's trying something to lighten the mood. Based on other comments on her page, I'm not the only one uncomfortable by the blackmail plot. It's honestly not too out there. This asshole has apparently been part of the scene for a while, knows Manda at least to some degree, so him coming over to her place when invited or called isn't too hard to see. Marellis the character is a asshole for the actual story going on but man this spooks me some. Being kidnapped against your will (which is what this looks like so far to me) and by someone you know is a bit worse than the blackmail he is actually doing IMO. His blackmail has the potential to destroy a life. This is right now potentially life endangering right now though. He is at their mercy, and from what it looks like if they think he has wronged a member of the group badly. Sure he has but what if he hadn't and was innocent?

I mean who knows what they plan to do when done right now? Dropping him at a park in the middle of the night to get home on his own in the get up? Keep him in a barn for a few days in that get up? Flat out execute his ass and have Star join the hidden society of ABDLs that they are in? He is again at their mercy. Work is not aware of where he is as well and he has been gone longer than he said he would as well. The 4 doing it makes me wonder what other things the group could have done to get back at someone who might have wronged the group in their opinion in the past?

Sure Star's character showed proof of Marellis' wrong doings in a recording she got without his knowledge of for the true story but think about it for a second. What if it was just a recording of what one could have considered a private role play session potentially? What if Star and Marellis were a thing in the past and they broke up and are on bad ice so now Star wants Marellis to suffer her wrath and got the group of dangerous kidnapping ABDLs to work in her favor and do her evil bidding?

Just saying, I do wonder if they got his side of the story for this or anything? The last 10 pages have been a very strange change of pace and make me believe she wanted to end the blackmail plot asap. No one's expecting greatness but there are a lot of lapses in judgment that are conveniently lining up ending with "surprise i work at your place too." You'd think that would have come up earlier. Plus is Tess must either be his superior officer or civilian contractor for her to just approach so easily. And finally now we're entering a dubious consent area handwaved because he's a jerk, which makes the situation now even more awkward.

Does the story make sense? Yes. Is it plausible? Maybe. Was it executed well? No. The whole blackmail plot was 2 years long and the entire climax and falling action happened the last few pages.
