Start on Dragon ball Z. It was the best anime ever created possibly even show you have to start there. Next is naruto

Depends on what you like. I have 3 recs. If you're into battle shounen (dragon ball z type shit), my first ever anime was bleach, and it's not too bad. If you want that type of fighting show but more complicated/adult oriented, Hunter x Hunter is the greatest shounen of all time imo (besides jjk which is going hard rn).

If you like a show that's more character and story oriented, the anime that got me hooked on anime, years and years ago, was Steins;Hate.

Jojo's bizarre adventure is a good bonus series to get into.
