What i understood (i think)

What i am still uncertain of.

>Who were the guys with the cyber glasses and the man that delivered that brief case to them? Were they just hit-men hired to kill of the knights members? except for the briefcase man, he seemed to know about the bigger picture, could have he been another manifestation of god?

>Who were the knights and what was their goal, i think it was mentioned that they were related to the knights Templar? And what is the prophesy? Are they trying to prove god's existence through the wire and the dimension?

>How is the Roswell incident and aliens connected? Was alien technology used to make the wire and Lain?

>Why did that girl kill herself at the beginning in the first place? The same with the other girl in the vision with the train, was it to truly transcend to the wire and the other dimension?

>Does that Cyber drug enhance your telekinesis therefore giving you a stronger connection to the wire and the other dimension?

>Who the hell was the little girl with the teddy bear?

> Is Lain just another manifestation of god? Is God just playing with itself?

>What was that online game all about and who was that girl that the guy supposedly killed?

I left with more questions than answers, is this the kind of thing that i need to go back and watch more than once to fit all the puzzle pieces together or am i just a brainlet for not fully understanding the story?

the family was fake which is why half of them just shit the bed after a while

The dad even says he enjoyed his time playing house but it was over now. An important thing to note

the lain you see on screen isn't always the same lain you were seeing earlier

The guys in suits were some government spooks.

The show touches on a lot of subjects but I don't think it dives to deep into some of them. The guy was trying to bring the ~~digimon world~~ the internet to the real world with his new protocol. Lain was a key to that. I could be wrong about some stuff, I need to watch it again myself.

when I went to re-watch it the first episode made me sick, lain convinced that girl to take her own life, she has multiple personalities at best at worst she knows what she's doing at all times and pretends to be dumb, pretends to be dumb about the family, she creates the god figure because she tried to fool herself that she was not already at that postilion some one to blame and take guilt away? in reality she is a narcissistic toxic entity that wields the power of god like some sort of petulant child.

outside of that she's cool in my books yo.

watch that anime a few more times and you will see what I stated above and more..
