Is it safe to open the Ghost64 application without the risk of executing the GHO file and losing everything on your hard drive? I thought it would be good to ask before actually attempting to open it.

It's fine to open but when selecting the drive to write the image to make sure you don't select the wrong one. check model against your drive model and size against how big it is then press ok

Hi all. I'm working on the first Superbike. Now the game fully works without dongle. Control means for keyboard and mouse. Only until the game requires an amd CPU (3dnow technology). But soon I will replace the 3dnow instructions in sse and can play on any pc.

I have the superbikes2 hasp service dongle. I alredy dump the game (1.26 version). But the game has no code to operate a mouse and keyboard. Need to do emulator. I can try to find the bytes/dwords responsible for the management, but i need io board… Maybe ir will be little later…

Thank you so much for making this game playable on PC finally, always dreamed of this! ^ ^
But sadly I cannot seem to make it work for me after I extracted it on C:\ and ran "sdaemon.exe" because it only shows up "INITIALIZING HARDWARE" and after that it crashes for me.
I have Windows 7 with Intel CPU so it should run in theory like Mehanizm said and I also tried to apply the nodongle crack Challenger posted here…
I really want to know how can I manage to finally play one of my favorite-ass arcade racers on my PC! (And to be honest we also have it in some arcades I visited many times lol)

Yeah I extracted the 'rawart' folder on C:/, but whenever I try to boot the game it only shows up the 'INITIALIZING HARDWARE' screen, with only one error message saying 'NETWORKING DISABLED VIA DIP SWITCH 8 (OFF)' and after that it crashes.
(Then I tried to download and extract the very first Fast And Furious with cars instead and it actually works because in that screen it actually says instead 'WE GOT AN IP *IP number*' so I can play that one instead, so maybe it has to be for a networking error for me, then I don't know anything else sadly)

The Superbikes 1 works great but I have tried it on an actual superbikes I/O board and that works great too BUT….on loading the game where it says INITIALIZING HARDWARE it always says NETWORKING DISABLED BY DIP SWITCH 8 (OFF)…It does this even if the dip switch is set to ON and Machine ID is set 1 or 2……If goto Diagnostics it reads the dip switches fine……Can it be modified to reenable the network settings ??

In other words just modify sdaemonn.exe just to bypass the dongle so it really initializes the I/O and then reads the Dip Switches thus enabling networking.

Can you do this so that it still checks the I/O board settings as atm it does not look for the DIP switch settings which if set to ON, on the I/O board (sw8 ON) . Just want it to not check for the dongle but do everything else, otherwise it is perfect..
