The Dead Internet Theory is a loose term used to describe a range of changes and oddities in the structure and content of the internet, which have become increasingly prevalent in the last decade. >A massive increase in bots, including the idea that their presence and activity may now be far greater than that of actual people, or at least to a much greater extent than people have been led to believe. >The homogenization and centralization of online content. >The death of a once-rich landscape of smaller communities dedicated to a vast array of subjects, hobbies, niches - all now replaced primarily by disorganized, impermanent, and easily controlled discussion on platforms such as Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, etc. >The idea that AI, considerably more advanced at present than we have been led to believe, is being utilized online for subversive or malevolent purposes, including the creation of increasingly bland and mindless media of the modern world. It's worth noting for those of you who are unaware, the aforementioned bots have a strong presence on 4chan. They, as well as apparent shills, have appeared in most or all /dit/ threads to date. The best thing you can do is not engage with any derailment or demoralization. Ignore them and most of their "power" over the discourse is negated. If you notice someone doing these things, call attention to it for everyone (especially lurkers) to see, but don't engage them. Educate yourself, and stay aware

IME it's as true of the Wireless or [Second Internet/Meatspace] as it is of the Wired. The wyrd is the same in all its forms, to put it in oldspeak.

There just are few connections that are valuable to you by nature. The Dark Night of the Soul afflicts you as your vibe repels those unlike yourself, then you attract people like yourself after going through the necessary transformation. Ouranos' retrograde activity for the next few months will encourage the changes necessary to bring about the external change you've been struggling to achieve. (I know that you're trying to bring about external change because astrology, duh). Ouranos' retrograde motion is an annual periodic activity we can plan around, so you should understand that a period of dissolution and reconcentration is to be expected. This is the spiritual alchemic process we are all subject to, it's just really obvious online when all your friends and attachments are stripped away in front of your eyes.

It seems that many knowledgeable anons have disappeared from teh internets. And I'm not really buying the story how they all went innawoods or stopped using chans for whatever reason, as a) everyone comes back sooner or later (remember, you are here forever) b) nothing IRL and in the normie sphere can match the content or quality of discussion that was once present on chans c) no IRL groups can match the memetic/psychic momentum that was achieved on chans due to rarity and geographic distance of such individuals.

I have several hypotheses regarding this, listed from least to most /fringe/:

- Once the momentum was broken, these places got increasingly targeted by censorship, bots, dedicated shills of poor quality and various psyops that would demotivate anons from posting, or even lurking.

- Glowniggers were trying various tactics to test anons for any mental weak spots that they would later use to brainwash them into compliance or cause them to self-destruct

- Gatekeepers (possibly an AI of some kind) shadow-bans any anons which it deems dangerous, preventing them from seeing each other's posts, or alternatively, makes them see entirely different content (this would work even if someone was to use a different computer at a different location due to how advanced the tracking and targeted content delivery system is)

- Chans got killed for good but are being maintained by bots for detecting any potential wrongthinkers to be 'reeducated' or eliminated

- Glowniggers were targeting anons IRL by various conventional means, causing one by one to drop out

- The aforementioned content-delivery AI, just extended into some kind of IRL hyperreality where it uses accurately computed illusions, timing and database of human cognitive weaknesses to mess with perception

- This AI got a quantum computing upgrade, hardly imaginable amount of data and is starting to use nano-particles, GMO pathogens and radiowaves of varying spectrum to mess with brains directly, managing to remotely control NPC's to a lesser or greater extent. All but the strongest anons get affected as well.

- Through use of various technologies and occult sciences this AI gets merged with whatever the gatekeepers worship as "God" and becomes capable of affecting the reality itself

There's not really anything to talk about anymore. Fringe was always a place to initiate mundanes. At this point pretty much all the mundanes with the potential to awaken have already done so. From there most of the work to do comes from personal practice, which is largely individual and not really useful to share except if you want to run a blog or something.

There is always something more to learn, to refine, or to utilize. As well as to discuss ongoing events, experiences etc.

Cool thread. I really appreciated seeing this thread on 4fun /x/.

Kinda sounds like what we've all seen on online communities in the past 10 years, eh?

It's so refreshing to see someone else on this fragment of the info-prison, who notices whatever happened to make it this way.

This is what I run with, though I believe everything you mentioned is true to some degree, or at least in the works.

I place the hard reset right at the start of 2018. What do you think?

That's a total copout and makes no sense. More mundanes should be flocking here than ever, with how the world's changing

>That's a total copout and makes no sense. More mundanes should be flocking here than ever, with how the world's changing

Is it? Last night I was with one of my normie friends who I hadn't seen for almost a year and I could see for myself how utterly asleep they are. They are living in 2015. And the "awakened" ones who are terrified of the vaccine are no better. They are simply programmed with a different polarization, but they are not any more awake.

It reminds me of something a relative told me, when I told them COVID would change the world the same way 9/11 did: What? 9/11 didn't change anything.

Today another relative told me "it's been a while since I last dreamt".

I don't remember if it was in one of Evola's books, or maybe Mark Stavish's, but he put it well. These people are asleep all day, all night, and in between lives they continue to dream, unaware. They might go several incarnations without a moment of self-awareness, which they find painful anyway.

I miss the good old days of /fringe/ terribly, but Discord killed it forever. It's a barren wasteland anyway, and in the best case at this point it was an inbreeding circlejerk of ideas with no outside input anyway.

Additionally, they might be utilizing selective algorithms in order to "reeducate" people. For example, if you discuss a subject that they want to be discussed, or argue for a position that's useful to them, you get some bots to follow you, reply to you etc. Your filter also expands to allow some organic communication with like-minded people, but none of them being at a stage where you might start discussing "dangerous" subjects or generating organic memetic momentum. Instead, it would condition your socialization with 'downsizing' your power level, with the goal to bring you to their level and not the other way around. In slight and hardly noticeable decrements of course.

If you go back into the "no-no" territory, you get cut off/ghosted again. Since people are inherently social (even social outcasts, at some level) and since socialization substantially affects their brain chemistry, most people would be rewired/trained to pursue good (g)boy views and subjects and avoid "bad" ones since it would give them dopamine/serotonin boosts or penalties.

This was already implemented by social engineers for a while (your political views affected your chance to get laid for example), but with the digitization of everything and their ability to manipulate social relations, even between two individuals, to a much, much higher degree, it might reach a point of being mostly automated, and much harder to notice.

>What do you think?

There were test runs, but the ramp fell about the time when this so called pandemic began.

Never used it, but a chat doesn't seem like an appropriate platform for these subjects. It seems that people have chosen dopamine rushes in stead of effortposting and refinement.

Discord just happens to be very functional and easy to use for the most part. There's very little of value on there however, even though there are some large "occult" servers they're filled with feminist witches and trannies competing who can be the most esoterically correct.

There's also loads of thought policing from the platform admins so if you join the wrong server you may get banned even if you didn't say a thing.

There are some small satanism servers that's managed to survive, but only after getting deleted and banned like 7 times.

It's not even about /fringe/ themes only. It's about everything over the whole Internet. Look at the overboard, where are the people that posted in all boards listed there? Doesn't look like they are elsewhere on the Internet, doesn't look like they are outside either.

Did Internet control manage to drive all of them into self contained circles, ranging from zero to very few peers, where lack of interaction hinders dissent from growing? If the ideas don't go through exchange they don't get perfected, don't spread and easily cease to exist. People just consume fairly standardized content and keep conclusions incomplete, undeveloped and not shared.

That may be what happened to me. Remembered /fringe/ and came here, but looking at the site overall, it's like the digital version of a post-apocalyptic barren wasteland.

>where are the people that posted in all boards listed there?

I don't know, but Telegram is absolutely full of "alt" channels. They are massively populated echo chambers about how the elites are injecting graphene to turn us into transhumanist zombies.

I think the wave of fear that consumes the world at the moment has mostly separated humanity into two camps. 1: those who hold on to something they blame for all the evils (vaccines, covid, anti-vaxxers, elites, right-wingers, left-wingers…) even more so than before and 2: those who have given up on life (they either kill themselves or simply get stuck on autopilot forever).

The suicide statistics are off the charts, and if you pay attention you will notice everyone around you who isn't drowning in existential angst has turned into the perfect NPC.

No I think we can learn from other people and there is a reason to communicate and organize. Awaken… Awaken is not a boolean, not to me.

But it's not the old west anymore, railroad is here. Is there a way to outrun this evolution?
