I think this picture is a good illustration of the concept of Samsara: suffering is always prevalent, it's just a matter of how much suffering there is depending on which realm and circumstances one is in.

It's a well known fact in The Aryan Teaching (Theravada Buddhism) that there is no "Omnipotent God", but there are gods who pretend to be such a thing, and such evil beings go to hell.

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary devas is that extraordinary devas keep doing evil when they should have stopped a long time ago, but they keep doing it, and they go to hell for a very long time.

Well; what you need to understand, is that "physical" stimuli, that cause pain, such as starvation, being burned by fire, etc, are not the same as suffering; though they may cause suffering. One can just as easily suffer from the fortunes the Gods bestow, as from the pains they cause, as suffering isn't from a "physical" precondition; but rather a condition inflicted from self upon self, by the preconception and conception of things as they are and could/should be.

The belief that there is a path to end suffering, is, also itself, something of an illusion; as suffering can be ended instantly. Suffering comes from within, any belief other than that is an illusion; as is the belief that there is a path to end such, when from within comes the power to end such, instantly, and the belief that "path" is as long as they believe it is, makes it such.

>Samas Aran, in the eternal cycles of creation, maintenence, and destruction of the Gods and Asuras, why do the Valkyrie suffer so?

From holding on to their hot coal, an anger born of the conception of the way the world could and should be; their sacred obligation taken upon their shoulders, the weight of "the world", all things, forms and minds, and making the world it should be…. through battle and destruction of their enemies through war upon the slavers, rapists, and murderers of existence and in the eternal cycle of the Gods; the sacred obligation and oath they have taken to Odin and Freeya, the Havi, the Va all ka'Aryies, the Battle maidens who are temples to the most high Gods.

Expecting any justice from samsara is beyond naive… Even if they pretend. And what if they actually believe?

As described in the The Aryan Teaching, The Teacher faces two antagonists: Baka, a god who believes that his godhood is the highest attainment there is; and Mara, a god who wants (1) to keep Baka under his power by allowing Baka to maintain his deluded opinion, and (2) to prevent The Teacher from sharing his awakened knowledge with others. Of the two, Mara is the more insidious, a point illustrated by the fact that Mara always speaks through someone else and never directly shows his face. (Another interesting point is illustrated by the fact that Mara is the source of the demand that one obey a creator god.)

In overcoming his antagonists, The Teacher asserts the superiority of his knowledge in two major fashions: through a description of his awakened knowledge and through a display of psychic powers.

† The Four Providential Truths †

I. Suffering is inseparable from existence.

II. Craving is the root cause of suffering.

III. Suffering can be ended by ending craving.

IV. There is a path to ending craving and suffering.

Why is everyone afraid Mara, the deva that LARPs as an omnipotent God?

The answer is because it and its followers can harass, torture, and possibly kill you and your loved ones if it does not like what you are doing. That leaves people with two choices, submit to Mara and its evil agenda OR find a way to deal with the evil it sends your way.

Of course, the righteous choice, and the only correct choice in The Lord Inquisitor's opinion, is to find ways to deal with the evil Mara and its cultists send your way. It is pretty damn hard in some cases, so I completely understand why many people 'submit' to Mara.

So how does one deal with Mara's bullshit? First and foremost, do everything in your power to attain Stream Entry and try to convince those in your immediate (and extended if you wish to be extra righteous) family and friends to do the same. This step is important because those who attain Stream Entry attain a "holy aura of protection" and Mara will fuck with you less. Also, it is impossible for you to go to hell as a Stream Enterer, so that is pretty sweet too. If you need proof of this "holy aura", read the story in The Pali Canon about a Mara perishing after it wounded a disciple of the previous Teacher (The Buddha).

Anyway, after that, here is The Lord Inquisitor's personal list of techniques for dealing with Mara's harassment and torture:

- NoFap

- Energy Channeling (Shaolin Monk Method to deal with pain; "there is no feeling")

- Meditation (IMPORTANT!)

- King Method/Rage Room/yelling (Kind Method is acting out violent acts in your head, in the empty air, and on inanimate objects to release anger safely)

- Physical activity/release (Exercise, boxing, running, etc.)

- Cold showers

- Auditory Harassment Protection (ANC headphones/ear plugs)

- Therapy/Journal

- Medication

- Alcohol/drugs (Indica weed is great for seeing through the pain)

So far, I have been sent to prison and the mental hospital several times while having to deal with enormous amounts of other crap I'm not going to get into, and I honestly feel pretty damn good. So there you have it. Good Luck dealing with Mara's evil bullshit!
