Like most people, I have a killswitch which sends me to sleep almost instantly. In my case, it's the sound of raindrops against a roof or car window.
Strange thing is, there are a couple of vids on Youtube specifically centered on that kind of content, but twenty or thirty minutes, I suddenly get "interference" by something which sounds like music coming from the car's radio. Except the radio isn't on, and the only sound you're supposed to hear are aforementioned raindrops banging against the car window.
It get's even more bizarre when you listen in to the stuff - seems to be some weird kind of Christian crap about Jesus being our lord and dying for our sins and then some, but again, I find it difficult to believe that some random YouTube fag is trying to brainwash people who like the sound of rain.
Has anyone else encountered similar things?

It's your brain having such little stimulation that it's adding in its own stuff to keep itself entertained.
Look into the Ganzfeld effect.
Also very tinfoily, but I'm almost 99% certain I heard a faint "RATE, COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE" playing in the background of an ASMR video once, almost on a subliminal level. That's something else though.

I tried the Ganzfeld before but it didn't work. The ski goggles looks more comfortable and effective so that's likely what I need.

Almost all of internet contains subliminal brainwashing, most of comments you read are bots designed as ads or something more sinister. You can't really trust anything, and I advise you to stop listening to asmr completely or narrow it down to channels you're sure are legit people.
My psychological trauma helped immensely in this, somehow everytime I hear something trying to subtly slip into my mind I flip my shit, even completely waking up from sleep.
Basically become a paranoiac and you'll be safe. Subliminals can also help you though, there are millions of videos on youtube designed to do certain things. Even some nutty supernatural ones.
Also, ignore the shills that are about to pile up below

I've thought of doing much worse things than that on Youtube… I just never did them because I'm too lazy.

Facebook's use of bots makes me wonder just how many bots are roaming the internet.

When I was 14 I used to fall asleep very easily during the car ride home from school. I was hot, tired (weird non 24h sleep pattern) and wearing my absolutely atrocious heat conducting uniform in the tropics. I used to hear the sound effects used in CS:GO for explosions and gunfire. I have had other experiences like this usually when half asleep and somewhat uncomfortable but with different sounds since I don't play CS:GO anymore. Usually they are short loops of a song I've listened to a few too many times or someone calling something out.

Only shills believe binaural beats won't cleanse the ASMR demons from your brain
