What level of brainwashing are we talking about? If you mean standard political and cultural indoctrination, then yes. Just look at any university and you'll find plenty of brainwashed kids. Anyone who watches television is being brainwashed without realising it. However if you mean complete brainwashing, I think that requires trauma-based programming and is only done on a few specific individuals (the events of September 11, 2001 would be an exception).

yeah there are definitely brainwashed people out there. Check out reddit.com and you see them. I don't mean that as joke seriously look at the front page and look at how these people interact.
