I wanted to try contacting spirits too, but then I read a book about evocation and the author himself basically said "it works, but it's not worth it, because the negative effects outweigh the good".

There must be a way to contact non-retard spirits. I know I'd be a fucking baller ghost. We'd get all the bitches even if I had to possess them. I'd do the force choke and shit and make everyone think my summoner was psychic. It would be great.

Not to be rude, but it is not a very good idea to try and contact spirits. It's all too easy for something to go wrong.

Although if you are really determined to do so my advice is do not use ouija board. They are just bad news all together.

Evocation is dangerous if you're a fool. You're dealing with entities and energetic wire frames capable of drastically changing your perception of the world. Treat them with respect and forethought and they'll do the same…and if not then you should already have planned for that.

Learn who "you" are before you contact others. They have such a large effect because people don't know what is still "them" after making contact.

Ouija boards have no filter. If you enchant them with a seal or you're a learned summoner then they're just as benign as any dowsing or scrying method.

Read.

Meditate.

Look within.

You'll see without.
