Tate's not any "conservative" as conservatism was understood in, say, 1982. But in 2022, he's recognized, championed, and defended by the culture-war right as one of their own.
Social conservative message to young men, 1982:
Work a job, marry your girlfriend, join a church, have kids, buy a house, save for retirement.
Today, all that is the "blue pill" from which the culture-war right promises to rescue young men.
It's still good advice though.
