Od tych małp co teraz są to nie pochodzimy, ale mamy wspólnego przodka. Paręset tysięcy lat temu istniały na świecie gatunki gdzieś pomiędzy przysłowiową "małpą" a nami, ale wyginęły. Głównie dzięki nam. Ewolucja jest najprostszym i najlogiczniejszym wyjaśnieniem tego procesu, do tego stopnia że nikt normalny nawet tego nie kwestionuje. Poza trollami.
