Jak cipka jest zdrowa i umyta to smak jest raczej neutralny. W zależności od dnia cyklu może być delikatnie (ale tak naprawdę bardzo delikatnie) słonawa lub słodkawa. Duzo też zależy od samej lochy. Moja obecna locha smakuje najlepiej 2 dni po okresie, a poprzednia miała najsmaczniejszą czipe w dni płodne.
