I've literally never even heard of "Vicious circle". Lawbreakers was hilariously generic and shit, and Radical Heights was a fucking early alpha masquerading as a playable game.
Evolve, on the other hand, still has players, surprisingly. Despite the kikes at 2k killing the game's support and removing servers, you can still play it p2p, and I've recently joined a community in which to play it.
It's honestly not bad, I can only assume it died because 2K are retards, and fucked up with a "monetisation" system, more-so than lack of quality on the game. I wonder if Turtle Rock's new game will be any good.

The nu-Blizzard style is a safe pick because you don't have to think on creating consistent characters and backgrounds (just say they're heroes from across the entire universe, the simple designs with relatively few textures make everything easy to develop compared to more detailed styles, the bland round designs make everything feel "safe" for the (man)children that will play the game, it makes people associate these games with Blizzard's successful titles (and to some degree with Pixar's), and makes it easier to produce toys, figures and similar merchandise.
In other words, it's the video game equivalent of the "calarts style" that is present in many new cartoons.
