I would love that. AoStH, SatAM, Legend of Zelda, and the Mario OVA are all good cartoons. Even the Super Mario Bros. Super Show has a handful of fun episodes and it stars Captain Lou Albino with guest appearances from Sargent Slaughter in a couple episodes for anyone from /woo/.

The issue isn't that the animation quality isn't better, admittedly aside from when they make decisions to forgo basic practices for muh art.
