Julay is another bunker that was mostly popular because of the /cow/ board where a lot of anons got around to mock and harass autists. It's basically eceleb shit turned up to 11 but their site seemed competent at least to some degree.

They are part of the webring, so you can always visit them if you want, just like fatchan is in that ring.

9chan is the alternative that Mark and Josh are working on, using Infinity Next code. It's Early Access, so perfect for /v/ :^)

Supposedly, it has a bunch of cool shit due to their codebase that makes it worthwhile to consider, but I couldn't tell you what those features are, just keep that in mind.

Best solution for you right now is to keep tabs on all of them and peek every now and then at their userbase size. Stick with what you like, even if it's not popular (good communities never are) but pay attention to what happens so you can ditch any place that dies out before you're out of alternatives.

It's a JSchan-based site that allows board creation and the site owner, who is the JSchan developer, seems reasonable and of course allows loli. The board owner of fat/v/ is not Mark but some anon who has been discussing rules for the board with users after the drama started a week ago, he seems reasonable and responsive. The main other site I see being a viable possibility is the LynxChan based site that /gamergatehq/ owner Acid Man plans to launch in the next few days (with help from Mark), which is meant to be an 8chan successor embodying the same spirit of allowing all legal speech. But Fatchan already exists and some people don't like that the /v/ on Acid's site would be owned by Mark (though theoretically we could create a different board) so Fatchan seems likely to be chosen. In any case the webring that most alternative imageboards are using nowadays makes the specific hosting site less important.

It's not just about finding a place to show off the work though. When every major and medium sized lewd art community bans a thing, even though its not technically illegal, the chilling effect it causes will deter many artists, especially the up and coming ones in the future from drawing that content.

You can ignore the trend and pretend that as long as a single loli drawing artist is left you haven't lost anything, but you know very well that that's not true.
