Are there any aesthetically weird/surreal games like Dujanah or Hylics that you know of?

Memeshit like mondo medicals aside, there was Total Distortion, which was just weird for the sake of being weird.

Lisa, Space Funeral and Crypt Worlds are probably the peak of this for me, and I'm still waiting for Crypt Underworld.

What about unintentionally surreal games? I remember renting and playing Tonic Trouble as a kid and the whole felt like one big fever dream with killer veggies, dungeons, and sledding sections. It didn't help that I was probably sick the one or two times I played it.

Do you or anyone else have a Yumi Nikki chart? I know that has some things related to YN, but I remember a chart specifically about that series.

There was that one game "Turgor," which I never actually played. Naked chicks and painting with colors to make magic happen. Weird Russian thing. Didn't see it on the lists, but I wasn't looking for it under its alternate name "The Void," so I probably missed it.

I've been playing Azrael's Tear today, I think it's come up before. Future Indiana Jones type goes after the Grail. It's kind of a mess on DOSBox but I keep the in-game resolution at auto, which drops resolution during movement and increases while you're looking around pointy-clicky mode.

Cyberdillo was some pretty weird shit. Not exactly deep or fascinating; it was over the top weird for the sake of it, but it did leave an impression.

Don't know if it counts, but El Shaddai has amazing aesthetics and it's a loose interpretation of the Dead Sea Scrolls, so it's got weird religious tones to go with it. The Dead Sea Scrolls are Jewish, so I just call it JewJew's Bizarre Adventure.

Yes I remember playing this as a kid along with some point and click game called Rama, and Caesar 2.
I remember getting spooked by a ghost in steam water and some guy wanting me to free him, and getting stuck quite early. Is it actually worth a replay?

So the book of Enoch is part of the Dead Sea Scrolls?

The book of Enoch is an apocryphal book, meaning it's not actually part of the Bible. I doubt it would've been read in your local church.

Zeno Clash. Enormously fun melee combat system, simple but competent story and really original art and world design. Too bad that the game is nigh forgotten nowadays.

I'm assuming he means the real ones dating ~2000 years ago. Also this article seems intentionally misleading, but it's the bbc so whatever.

>Museum of the Bible
That "museum" is owned and operated by Hobby Lobby's owner.
The guy is a jackass who knowingly smuggled in thousands of stolen artifacts, some of which he bought from al-Qaeda.
I certainly hope he bought some fakes.

I'm planning to play more of it with some time this weekend. A lot of caveats to it, it has some protoypical sort of controls for its age so it doesn't play like a usual FPS, and I only got it running somewhat decently on DOSBox-X. It's slow but I'm fairly into it for not being a hand-holding extremely linear affair like most adventure games have become.
