I'm hesitant to call an illustration for a soundtrack "teasing". But fuck knows I want to resolve this goddamn cliffhanger, and it would be nice for this Megaman port collection deluge we've had to bear fruit. ZX3 would probably disappoint me after so long (either because the devs lost the flow/their touch or some other bullshit ruins it), but goddammit I hate trilogies getting cut short, I'd be happy just to be able to put it behind me for good

Out of the Mega Man spin-offs, ZX would the 3rd one I'd want out of the list behind Legends and Zero. Maybe switch or add Battle Network or X series somewhere in there. Not sure where to place the last 2 since I haven't played them in a while and remember where the ended storywise but I did like the gameplay.

Zero is clearly built off of X5, so the mere existence of X6 splits it.
Technically like most games with alt endings it also splits from that perspective as well.
But then X6 isn't the first to do that.

I think they fucked up on their own image.
The last of the 4 lights in the top corner is likely supposed to be blue to represented the 4 bio metals based off the Four Guardians from MMZ.
This can be seen in the bottom corner as 3 of the 4 lines are visible there as well and the last one is clearly blue.

I didn't mind as much, specially with Gunvolt 2 fixing most problems of Gunvolt 1, plus giving you new interesting mechanics that I wouldn't mind seeing in ZX3. If Blunder Number 5.5 is playable is probably because of into creates.

Yes, Eurasia crash site, but the problem is that after the events in X5, that have Zero and X fighting over their principles, is what leads to Zero1. X6 kinda puts that aside, which is what makes it inconsistent. Honestly, it's not like it's the biggest deal, but it does bother me. In the first place, X1 to X3 is a clusterfuck, and I get why, those games stories were probably done on the fly, because gameplay > story anyway. Shit got serious only in X4, and even then it didn't have enough time to develop into something meaningful because they had to rush a conflict through X5.
This is exactly why I'd actually love them to remake all X games for them to be more coherent, like they did with Maverick Hunter X, which was very very good with the Day of Sigma intro and more characterization, even if minimal, as it should be.
But seeing current crapcom, they'll probably fuck the whole story like with REshit2 and 3, let alone DmC2.

Capcom was gonna get bad PR for killing a long-awaited finale, but blaming the fans for "not showing interest" despite all the hype? I think Crapcom only announced it to try and dissuade Con-Man from leaving, but when he left the project lost its purpose so they canned it.
I feel its worth noting that DMC5 was only made because Hideaki Itsuno almost quit after DmC, so I wouldn't be shocked if a similar situation had happened prior with Con-Man.

Weak platforming and combat is filled with just fuck my screen up AOEs and after all the complaining about weapon levels in their earlier games decide to re include levelling.
Enemies are almost all completely negligible period when in the Zero/ZX games would still occasionally have enemies unless you did you reversal or a unintended broken move on a charge shot couldn't just be one shot out the way without being a designated miniboss type enemy.
