Remember when gaymen(ironic considering the whole esquire network bit) media was composed of people who actually played games and liked good games. G4 came at the wrong moment, when the internet was getting huge due to broadband acess. Unfortunately they took techTV with them, now the closest thing to gaymen media on tv is DisneyXP and Spike.

Remember that time that one news girl with the huge tits who had a mid life crisis after the show ended and decided to make a boy band for a few weeks so she could fulfill her /ss/ fantasies only to delete everything and pretended it never happened?

It's been so long since it happened. Pretty much Layla Kayleigh held try outs for a boy band then spent every day with them "promoting them". They slept over at her house, she took them places all over the city, and paid for it all. One of the boys posted some stuff about what they were doing on social media but I don't have it. Either this got people looking into her or she released what she was doing and broke up the band. Deleted the the bands social media account and everything related to it. I think there is more photos out there too.

I was fond of portal too. Didnt realize somebody saved the episodes on youtube. Some of the voices are really funny.

Yep.
Apparently most of it's on dailymotion. It was kind of surreal, pretty much MMO news and informative about the actual games but with a plot and humor.

Had no idea that Kristin Holt was still around. I don't get scammed by (((Gamestop))) so the news didn't reach me that she's working for them now until Googling her on seeing this thread.
Man, the early/mid-00's were wild.
Why can't I go back? ;_;

I miss Unscrewed. Extended/X Play was, when you get down to it, a pretty bog-standard game review show that carried itself on the cult of personality built up around it's hosts, but the reviews themselves were garbage and far too short (it's TV) to actually tell you anything meaningful. Basically they just gave a brief overview, and then either mocked it or licked it's balls, generally depending on existing popular opinion.
Unscrewed was at least something different as a variety show. Everything from laughing at weird search results, interviewing crazy people from the internet, having Yoshi and other TechTV crew building goofball contraptions, a pin-up girl segment… it was entertaining. Also, Swish had some nice tits.

Wasn't there an anon converting all of the episodes into webms? Did they ever finish that?
c41286 No.16681197
Anyone know where I might find an I think Attack of the Show episode where they're actually discussing the fucking infamous oblivion horse armor dlc (it was either right before or right after the game originally came out)? The discussion leads down to a what this means for the future and how some people fear they might one day be paying for half a game. I vaguely remember the Bethesda guy dodging the question completely. I think it'd funny as a juxtaposition for what companies do today and how even all the way back in 2006 people were 100 percent correct and justified in their skepticism.

Shit that's a good question. I'd ask the #GG thread, since it's relevant and they might have knowledge of where to look.
Alternatively — and it's a long shot — /pol/. My logic here is that some anon familiar with the deeper parts of the internet might know where to find archived broadcast shows (that aren't part of a TV series), legal or not

X-Play was a fun and comfy show. I miss it. I know I could get more information on games from 30 minutes of Internet browsing than I could get from 30 minutes of X-Play, but there's just something fun about watching a show instead of reading websites.

Its sad, really
I remember watching Adam Sessler and the gang thinking, “wow, maybe some day soon video games will be a respected form of media”
In reality they wrecked my country’s politics and now Adam Sessler is a fucking opium addict
